If youre using a non-stock kernel this may happen. I observed the same thing while using Netarchy's 4.3 kernel. I flashed back to stock and problem solved. This is why most kernel developers say you may experience odd phone behavior from time to time.

Thank you sir! That did the trick. I just don't understand why there is no system volume option under the stock volume controls.....ridiculous!
Anyway, downloaded Audio Manager and the system volume was turned all the way off.

Hmmm, I am running the HTC kernel in the ROM ending with #15. Are you other guys having unexpected results with accessing EPST using a non-stock kernel or the one that installs with the ROM?

Re: [ROM] 01/10/11 | SPRINT LOVERS | 2.2 | 3.70.651.1 | Radio/Wimax/PRI All-In-One

I have App 2sd installed and have moved everything I could to the sd card.
My question is when I do an update, I use My backup pro and sprite backup to reinstall my apps onto the phone. When I ran my backup to backup my apps there were a lot of cannot backup of apps. I think these are now on the sd card and can"t be backed up. How would I go about putting these programs back on the phone after a update. Would I have to use Astro and move each and every one seperately back to the phone?

Re: [ROM] 01/10/11 | SPRINT LOVERS | 2.2 | 3.70.651.1 | Radio/Wimax/PRI All-In-One

EASIEST WAY TO REMOVE READ-ONLY SYSTEM APPS:
-Purchase, download and install "Root Explorer" from Android Market
-Tap the button "Mount R/W" which remounts the system in read/write mode
-Long press the .apk you wish the delete and delete it
-Tap Mount R/O to remount the system as read-only
-Done

I tried deleting apps this way and I was able to delete the apk file. However, the apps still show in app drawer. I've tried using Titanium backup to get rid of apps and that didnt work. I've also tried Root Manager and it doesnt seems to remove the stock apps either.

Any ideas?

I use ,from the market , system apps remover. It worked for me, also you can put them back after you remove them if you change your mine or find the app is needed or you removed the wrong app ie market is called vending not market. I guessed wrong trying to remove an app and had to re install it.

EPST will no longer work if the "hosts" file is removed and not replaced with an updated one.

Im tossing together a quick update for you guys today which includes a few requests. The changes are:
-Colored Mail and MMS Icons
-Airplane Mode now added to drop down notification bar in place of volume
-Updated hosts file for internet browsing speed
-SD Card read/write speed increase (thanks to akazabam)

You can download a flashable patch HERE.

*The main roms are not available yet as they are uploading. Check back later for the complete roms.
