I have a rooted evo (on the boot loader it says soff).
I have formatted a 2gb sd card to FAT32 and put the pc36img.zip on the root folder of the sdcard
when i go to the bootloader it says it could not find image....what could be wrong?

On the changelog for the latest update (12/21), what is the "flash patch" for?? I must've missed it..

Why are you using a 2 gb card, the evo probably can't see it. When you are fully booted into a rom can you see the card with a file explorer like astro?? Are you sure the file is named correctly. Sometimes when you download a file it gets appended with a number if a file with that name already exists.

Yes, I fully wiped.....

When I try to launch the Google navigation app, it just sits at "checking navigation availability", and doesn't start.....anyone else? Google Maps appears to work, as well as Sprint Nav....

Running the 12/21 ROM all-in-one.

Looks like it was a Google or Sprint issue..as it's working now.

Re: [ROM] 12/21/10 | SPRINT LOVERS | 2.2 | 3.70.651.1 | Radio/Wimax/PRI All-In-One

boot loader wont give me the option to update to this rom :(

currently running [ROM] OTA_Supersonic_3.29.651.5 [ROOTED] [DEODEXED] [SIGNED]
[ROM] OTA_Supersonic_3.29.651.5 [ROOTED] [DEODEXED] [SIGNED] - xda-developers

after i hold power and volume down it reads the whole .zip file (the blue bar finishes completely) but afterwards it does not prompt me to update by pressing the volume up key, i've tried re-downloading the file countless times and replaced it onto my SD card with no success, any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Try renaming the file. Make sure you don't put ".zip" at the end of the file name. It will automatically recognize the zip file and adding the ".zip" will cause it to not load properly. Also try renaming it to "PC36IMG-ENG"without ".zip" at the end. Then reboot into hboot and see what happens.

You might try to reformat the SD card to FAT16. I seem to recollect (right or wrong) something to that effect.
The ROM loads fine as pc36img.zip
Remember to do a long hold on the off/on button to get to the phone options screen then Power Off.
