Re: |MysteryROM| |Dec.13.2009| |Windows Mobile 6.5| |Sense 2.5|

Nothing except MemMaid... :/ I did notice the weird 'selection issue' bug after the installation too. I don't know if you remember what bug I'm talking about. It's the one in the windows messaging window... I wasn't able to open a email, it was acting like multiple selection even if I didn't ask for it. It's still an awesome rom. I just wanna mention what I've found.

Hey Mystery. Been running the latest rom since it came out. Seems to be running great. Agreed on moving to 9.5, 9.7 seems to work better on devices that don't have an internal storage. lol. One thing I noticed is changescreen is set on by default, if you disable it and save, it still returns after a soft reset. not a big deal but wanted to let you know. Thanks again for this great rom!

Yeah.. I found change screen was causing some of the freakiness that I was experiencing. I disabled it for now. Apps outside of Opera, I like using the send key to change orientation.

Although I still like Opera 9.5 better. Maybe Opera 10 beta 3 will be good? :0

Just to let you know Mystery. I don't know how but I just came back of work and now my phone is recognized by my computer as a Disk Drive. I turned off my computer before going to work. Maybe rebooting it fixed the issue. I don't know.

Re: |MysteryROM| |Dec.13.2009| |Windows Mobile 6.5| |Sense 2.5|

Hi, first time poster here... I've tried a lot of ROMs here, and yours is by far the best. I've been running 11/26 version on my Sprint Diamond for a while, and it's like a new phone. Thank you!!

I just upgraded to the 12/13 version, and have a question - it appears that the phone has reverted back to using old-style soft buttons and close button, etc. - the X (close) now appears on top, instead of on the bottom, clock in the top row is missing, Start button is in top left now, etc. Is this something obvious that I'm missing, or was it a decision on your part to do that?

Thanks again!

Polbit

You were running a 6.5.x SYS before with the 11/26 ROM. Due to some of the pending issues with some of the 6.5.x SYS' Mystery decided to stop making these for a while and focus on the 21882 SYS which is proven to be more solid out of the box.

Enjoy the stability!!!

basically you want a rom build that says 28xxx or 23xxx instead of 21xxx

21xxx is 6.5 which is standard buttons with X on top.

23xxx and 28xxx are 6.5.1 and 6.5.3 respectively and have the new bottom big buttons, X button, etc... some people prefer 6.5 and some 6.5.x

I suggest you head over to OMJs sense 2.5 thread and download the latest 28005 and you should be just fine. 28011 is too buggy I think but he may have fixed it.
