I don't use mp3s as ringtone I actually leave my phone on vibrate all the time, but the ringtone bugs from previous builds have been fixed. As for wifi, it was always working for me, but yeah it is working for this release.

I just flash the new Sense 2.5 21612 Dec.05.2009 version ,cool !

but hands free activation still appear ,how to remove by PMH regedit?

I don't get this message, I came to the conclusion that only telus users get this since this is a Sprint Specific ROM. Try downloading my kitchen and select Generic Carrier and that should fix the problem.

Just to understand perfectly, 21612 sys is the one with the start button at the bottom ? If yes I'll stay with the Dec 1st 21882. Didn't find bugs excepted for Sense. I think it's the only part that has to be fixed in this release but... we'll wait for another Sense version for this ;)

Yes 21612 has the big buttons at the bottom, I will release 21883 in a couple hours, it is basically the same as 21882 just with a few changes in the SYS.

I've got the December 1st MysteryROM running right now with Sprint and all is good. Prior to that I had one of OMJ's ROMs running for a day that had the big buttons on the bottom. I had suspected it was those buttons at the bottom that made the Slingplayer Mobile app not display the controls on the bottom of the screen correctly. With confirmation from Mystery above that the December 5th ROM had the big buttons I didn't want to make the move from 12/1 to 12/5. By not making this upgrade or the one that is due out today what features will I be missing? Has anyone else had issues with the Slingplayer app?

Mystery since this is using Caulkins kitchen as the base do these need to be flashed back to stock first. I know on Caulkins last kitchen you did not need to flash back to stock. Which is nice saves a few minutes.

You are not really missing anything other than a few minor changes in the SYS. I do like the 21612 sys better than 2800X. Don't use slingplayer so I have no clue on this. If you are happy with the Dec.01.2009 release I say you stick with it so you don't have to install all your apps, etc. But if you want to update to today's release, it only has a few minor changes in the sys from 21882.
You don't really need to flash to shipped ROM anymore, I usually do it once I am done testing my ROM and know I'm gonna be using it for some time though.

Okay... after stepping away for a few weeks I'm an idiot again... so could someone just give me a reminder as to which sys's are 6.5.1+ (i.e. which ones have the buttons on the bottom of the screen?)?

What's up Waraxe! all the ones that are 235xx, 23xxx, and 28xxx are 6.5.1 and up I think 28xxx is 6.5.3. Mystery found a sys that is 21612 which also has the look and feel of 6.5.1. kind of weird since it doesnt come from these branches but Mystery likes it alot. Hi Mystery. something I noticed that may just be me but figured I would throw it out there. Just flashed your latest rom. customizations seemed to only last 2 seconds and it reset. When it fired up there was a bluetooth icon on the taskbar that would not go away. I hard reset again and this time the customizations took about a minute. I noticed this a couple times before as well with previous releases. Each time I decided to just hard reset once again. anyone else notice this?

Yes riley it has happened to me. I did the same thing hard reset one extra time and customization ran longer. No clue as to why it does it.

the font on the dial 21612 looks bold and not very sharp. anyone notice that? but everything else is perfect.

216xx is from HTC from what I've read. Most (all?) sys can be found in this thread at xda.

Hey Mystery just flashed to the new 21883. Didnt play around to much with it yet but i noticed that when i hold down the power button it wont go to the shut down screen. It says it requires a new version of net compact framework.

Installing .net framework caused my Sense to not load properly and I still have issues with the customization screen not loading up properly on first run.... other than that its running great...thx

when you flashed the first time, do you recall the customizations completing quickly? Mine did and I realized it didn't fully load the rom. You may need to hard reset. the customization screen should be up at least 20 seconds to one minute. just a hunch though but this may fix your problem, along with installing the correct .net framework cab. 12/6 version. On My Sprint Diamond, there is no PRL listed in the Device Info screen. If I use PRL update, the phone crashes and shuts down.

Tried going back to Shipped and reflashing with yours from 12/6.

I'm on SSK's rom, and I had the same problem on WM 6.5.1 because of the buttons on the bottom. You are correct that it screws up the Slingplayer controls. Only solution I found was to roll back to an earlier version of WM without the bottom buttons. Too bad, because I really liked the bottom buttons.

I hope someone can come up with a fix.

It's not an "earlier" build you want, but a 6.5 build instead of 6.5.1 or 6.5.3

On most roms you can get a 6.5 , 6.5.1 , or 6.5.3 version, what you want is a build starting with 21xxx (these are the latest 6.5 builds)

if it has a 23xxx later than 23017 or 28xxx it will have the "big buttons"

the brand new OMJ 21882 build (located on page 191 of the OMJ sense thread) is the newest OMJ 6.5 without big buttons and runds like dream

^^^ There are a few exceptions to the 21xxx build rule. The are 216xx builds which will still have the finger friendly bottom bar... in fact Mystery has one of these ROMs that he recently cooked.

I'm sticking with the Dec 1st release. Its a near perfect 6.5 ROM IMO... Only flaw is Sense 2.5 which is out of Mystery's hands...

I made sure the customizations worked on mine..or at least seemed to. I Tried a few times. I ended up installing .NET 3.5 and that fixed it.

yes all other programs and rom running perfectly. Router ran fine on OMJ's similar rom. Maybe 21612 system?

Hello, this ROM is awesome running well, practically bug free, but I find I'm missing some things from older pre-Sense ROMs.

Maybe these features are here and I'm missing where I can turn them on or am missing a .cab or need to update (I have the 21882 Dec 1st release) but if I can get any help that'd be appreciated.

- I'm wondering how to turn on compact qwerty.
- And I'm missing vibrate on connect (in the dialer)

I also noticed the slide to answer slider is a bit glitchy and doesn't slide very well. If possible does anyone know how I can remove this dialer and just use the older one? Maybe that would work better for me.

Compact qwerty isn't a sense 2.5 issue, it's whether the cook integrates biotouch and touchflo into ezinput 2.1, which no one does except dareeseboy as far as I know. What you can do is install Calkulin's ezinput 1.5 cab and it will have full and compact qwerty as well as phone keypad, and even runs faster and better, but it doesn't look quite as cool, it looks more like the keyboard in the stock diamond rom, but works like a dream.

not sure about slide to answer issue. 21882 is probably the best build i have ever used for various reasons, especially the new big menus and everything looks so awesome. you may be able to install the htc dialer cab and it should work, but don't quote me on that, the keyboard thing works for sure, just google search it, if you don;t find it let me know and I can upload it for u.

Hey guys I can't answer the questions right now I'm been really busy this past few days, I will try to have something up tomorrow morning. Got my hands on 21884 and will be updating it and hopefully won't forget to add .net 3.5 on that one.

I'm looking for a better SYS that has the big buttons at the bottom, I'm gonna give 28011 and 23092 a try and see which one I like better.

Didn't want to leave your guys without any updates. Also appreciate you guys helping out the other members with their questions.
