I notice that you didn't include the fix for the unnecessary flipping of the clock from here
http://www.everythingdiamond.info/showthread.php?t=2624

It works and takes a second for the clock to change from 0:00 to the correct time at first, but it runs fine after that.

depends on how you want to use SMS/MMS.

If you want to use SMS in the HTC client & MMS in POutlook, then no you don't need to disable anything, but you will need to enable Arcsoft.

If you want to use SMS & MMS in POutlook only, then yes you need to disable HTC Messaging Client. When I did this I also disabled Message Enhancement, but I don't think it is required.

Awesome Buddy, but you sure did make me stay up late last night! hehe

Here is a report on the 21870 update..

1. Still have the quirky, intermittent issue with the favs but not really a big deal.

2. Still had to run the DST fix... although all my calendar appts were correct and didn't spill over any days, for the contacts that have birthdays they were off by a day. Re-named pim.vol, reset, ran cab, re-sync'd and all is well... also no biggie

3. Location still working like a champ! :) ... just have to make sure i have at least one city set in order for it to initiate a data connection on it's own. Do you think this is a permission somewhere in the registry for "location"? ... I'm gonna cull through all the location regs a see if i see something

4. Just fyi for you and others with Live Mail issue on this SYS. It works, just have to disable Sense, re-set (not sure if that's required i just did it anyway), then goto regular messaging and add the account, then re-enable that beautiful Sense that you so AWESOMELY (if that's a word) brought to us :)

5. Did find the version of HTC Volume Control (1.6) to be bugy and intermittent, but version 2.1 works on this SYS and the 23504 all the time it seems. If you need that package let me know I'll post it.

... So pretty much no real issues at all, this kitchen ROCKS!! Again :notworthy:

Now just a quick question since I'm going to start tweaking the kitchen for my personal settings and stuff i like...

Where exactly do you tweak regs in this kitchen? Do you just go into each package and tweak them there or is there a central place with a lot of them or can you make a package of reg edit similar to the old OEM of optional reg edit?

I was able to add the clock fix to the kitchen and cook it in.
I also added the 28002 build and am cooking it.
Thanks again for the work and helping me in learning more about making the phone better...

remember what I said about skimming.....lol

1. still havent seen that issue
2. weird, is the birthdays synced from Facebook?
3. I would worry too much about a permission, the easy fix is just have at least 1 city, lol....thats why I have Orlando set in my rom.
4. very nice, thx for the info
5. I have never been able to get HTC volume working on 23504, you have it working?

for manila, initially I was going into each pkg & tweaking but w/ all the updates, I kept forgetting what I needed to change, until I caught it after flashing. Thats why I made the \EXT\Shared\021_HTCSense_1920_Tweaks\HTCSense_Twea k_OMJ_MISC folder & added the changes in reg.app.

one thing I did modify in the individual pkg was in the Weather pkg I removed all the cities & added Orlando. I also set these settings in weather, since I was already there:

"Weather.Fahrenheit"=dword:1
"Weather.CurrentCity"=dword:1
"Weather.EnableCurrentLocation"=dword:1

as far as the EXT pkgs, I set the start menu shortcut in each pkg, and also made any reg changes there too.

but, I also have reg tweaks @ \OEM\Diamond\Common\Tweaks - Registry, thats because calkulin already had a good set of tweaks so I just added more to it.
