Seems like others are reporting a glitch in the HTC message client (SMS) that amounts to the send button being greyed out/unusable when replying to a text message or in some cases getting greyed out after sending a few messages. Anyone else seeing this or know a fix?

Ok so here is what I am doing, I click on a picture of one of my favorite people, it brings up their contact card and where it says "action" I press call mobile and it does nothing.

You are saying this should work and yours does work? I am using 21887 Sense 2.5 your lite version. Al the other buttons in there function properly, except phone calls.

I'm running my own ROM with 28014 and Sense 2.5. Great job with the work / kitchen / etc.

Problem is, my ringer isn't working at all. Is there a setting or file I missed somewhere. i see some mention of this issue, but i'm not sure if there was a cause or fix.

1. Is the problems we are having with not being able to add contacts and modify them through manila because of the SYS or because of Sense 2.5 ?
If it's because of the SYS, then I will downgrade. Thanks.

2. Also, how do we bring up the taskmanager in the latest 6.5.3 ROMs.

Anyone having issues with adding keyboards not included with the kitchen?

I've tried installing multiple versions of Swype, and everytime I am able to select it, but it just reloads whatever keyboard I was using. Tried SIPChange, and about 3 versions of Swype... really want to give it a try. :(

well I am using 28014 w/ 2.5 but it should be the same.....1st off, clicking on their picture should call them, to view their contact u click their name. Yes, clicking "call mobile" calls them, on my phone.

I'll load up the lite version to verify I didnt miss anything, but I dont recall removing anything Sense related on the lite version.

I'm gonna take a wild guess & say you are using kitchen v1.5 from post #1? if so, I forgot to update the post, you should use v1.6.....even though I did not have the ringer issue on 28014 in kitchen 1.5.

1.I'm not sure exactly, I rarely add new contacts so I dont know if it's been going on all along.....I would guess it's sense 2.5 though.

2. depends on what you're cookin....If you're using my template, then taskmanager is in the upper right corner, but usually will only open if there is a program running.

which SYS? on 6.5.3, I use touchpal, and press & hold the keyboard to change

yes i'm using the latest 1.6 kitchen. the ringers work fine now without even having to reflash. something else wierd happened to me this morning though lol. i clicked on a text through manila and when i tapped in the field to type, manila just disappeared. all i could see is the start menu at the top and the background picture i set. a soft reset fixed it and everything is working just fine now. i think it just might be my phone acting up? i dropped it a few times over the holidays >.<
