playing in the settings and so on half of the screen goes black, so I can only read the top half of the options and have to scroll to see the rest.

any ideas?

I'll try cooking it again and flashing it, and seeing if it happens again

Did you by chance change the SIP by long-pressing the keyboard? I have had that problem in this kitchen, and couldn't fix it without hard resetting or installing another keyboard like Touchpal.

this is quite aggravating...I grabbed Mystery's 21887 SYS, cooked a ROM, still no ringing. I just cooked/flashed 21882 to see if it has the same issue....it's lookin like it may be the kitchen....I just rebuilt it based on Calkulins 4.2

21882 rang fine  back to the drawing board

Yep- that's why I'm strongly suspecting the SYS itself.
I'll keep on experimenting as well. Hopefully someone will find a working combination or a reasonable fix.
Or maybe a new build will come out.#-o

yeah, it's something w/ the SYS, but I dont get why the problem is not more widespread.....I looked for a newer build but did not find anything....Looking for 21885 to test.

I'm using Mystery's new kitchen and am trying my second flash with a 21887 SYS Titanium build right now. The first one had no ringer issue, but didn't look the way I wanted- just a mule. This one has what I want in it. So maybe one of these packages that I took from your kitchen is having a conflict... we'll see very soon.
