I don't know about everyone else, but for a very long time I am looking for a way to change the black softkey bar. I thought the images for the the keys and it's color was located in the tsk. I had posted two screen shots of my blue and black theme. Maybe to rest of you already know to do this. Unfortunately I do not know how to post links to rar files. If someone could please give instruction on how. I will post the png's images needed to make a theme like this one.:-P

Found the way, just copy the files to your device directory \windows, and soft reset. This works fine for 28008, and should work for any rom 25002 and higher. I can not take any credit for this images. They are not my work, but a combo of others.

Yes, I am using the Sprint pkg. I have even named my file Mighty.jpg and replaced the other one,and it won't load. Here is what I have

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila]
"HomeBackgroundPath"=\\Windows\\Mighty.jpg

I had EXACTLY the same issue as OMJ using calks kitchen as a base, so it has nothing to do with the kitchen but the files EVERYONE was using. In fact I fixed the issue by using a bunch OMJ's kitchen files after he had done the legwork to figure out the issue.

So please go sit in a corner and leave those putting hours of work for FREE alone. OMJ doesn't even accept donations!!! I have ton's of respect for OMJ because of this, he is one of the few in which this is the case.

I'm not knocking Calk's work, he was in my opinion one of the great influences here at PPCgeeks and for CDMA devices in general, but Calk now has a TP2, so consider yourself lucky that someone has been kind enough to come and fill the void, and for absolutely nothing at that...

Well said ... worth repeating!

Can I use this kitchen to build a Titanium ONLY ROM? If so, do I just eliminate all the Sense options?

I'm finding a few issues with Sense that are making it difficult to use as an everyday "working" OS. (Main issue is that when I open an appointment, I can't see the notes that are included. I also don't like the non-touch-friendly notifications for missed calls & voicemail.)
These issues aren't huge, but I'm going to be dropping my landline and going entirely mobile in the next week and I need something that is more reliable and usable.

I was wondering the same thing myself. I used Mobile Shell so having Sense is kind of a waste for me because I'm not gonna have it activated lol so can a titanium rom be cooked with this kitchen?

Exactly. I was using MS3.5 before I tried Sense. I had previously sworn off Manila- but this really looks great. It just isn't so practical- I also just noticed that my text messages were getting truncated in Sense. I'm not knocking it- it's great looking and has a lot of nice perks. I like the Twitter & weather tabs. The home tab would be really great if there were some good notifications for the phone functions.
I want to try a Titanium build with MS3.5 and see how that goes. I don't like having MS3.5 built in- it seems to have issues when everything isn't in the folders that it was designed for.

Ok, looking for a little help. I was in a hurry last night and cooked a rom on the fly without testing it before i left the house. I cooked a 6.1 Sense 2.5 rom and all is running well except for the Dialer. The keyboard is way off line and when i hit the phone softkey, the dialer comes up but the slider for manila is covering up the bottom and the numbers are all out of whack. Keep in mind, i just cooked the Rhodium dialer from the kitchen in to the rom. All im looking for is an updated Tachi or Rhodium dialer that is in cab form since im stuck at work without the ability to flash. Thanks

Also, has anyone noticed while cooking or using OMJs roms, when you go to settings and select device information icon, it doesnt give all of the info. Normally it would show what prl currently being used. This isnt showing anymore.

I've had the same truncated listings on device info ... most likely a manila 2.5 issue. Guess it's just one of the annoying little glitches that come with porting systems made for different screen sizes.

Yeah I suppose. I would assume you are correct on the Sense 2.5 issue cause have cooked every sys and they all do the same thing. Is there another way to view this info?

How are you viewing it? From the about page in manila? Because I am using the device info from the latest LEO dump and it doesnt seem distorted or anything and I'm pretty sure I get all the values.. (or does OMJ not use this and just lets the stock device info run?)

edit: ahhh nvm I see now..
