Try looking in the app.dat files that are in the same folder as the ringtones. Usually there's info in the app.dat files that tells it where to store the ringtones during install. (ie: /Windows/Rings/"velvet.wma" - /Windows/"Velvet.wma")

Yes, I deleted them from the OEM drivers. It shouldn't matter what I delete. Just what was left. It's like there is a ringer that links them all together.

I have flashed 2 different roms 3 times and they won't load sense what am I doing wrong?? I was doing I was working with 21870 21882 because i'm tired not being able to use older programs because of the bottom bar like I can't use winrar at all on the phone for an example. It just says tap here to launch htc sense I tap it and it just goes back to tap here to launch htc sense?

also a rom or a kitchen if possible to get the swype keyboard put in a kitchen or a rom would be cool because it rocks!!!

Best thing to do is fire up the kitchen and hit load rom, then you can use one of OMJs 6.5 roms as a template and just take out or add what ya want. Here is a swipe ext I just put together you can add to ur kitchen and then add to your rom. I havent tested it but it shoud be fine...enjoy

yes I was but one of the stock templates I must have saved or something so I unzipped it again and overwrote and am trying it again right now thanks for the cook in I might have to study up on how to put it in the rom builder I read it like 2 days ago you just put it in the approriate folder right and it shows up on the list. in the rom builder.

I FOUND THE FIX TO ALBUM ART UPDATING!!!

ok so there are 2 reg edits missing...
ill just put them here and a cab
here it is:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\Manila\Music]
"Cust_Music_Store"=dword:1 (dont have to add it for it to work)
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\AudioManager_Eng\i nformation]
"connect_setting"=dword:1 (must add)

ok so for anyone who would like to cook it in just add these two edits to any app.reg (or any .reg file) inside a package that u r cooking into your rom.

and the cab: (if anyone has more then those two reg edits missing)

u might need to soft reset after... but these are the two reg edit u would need to add and everything works like a charm!!!
edit: only the "connect_setting" must be added although the other one will add an extra tab to the menu in the "update album art" tab after u update so that u can see what it found and be able to download the pic's (atleast i think thats what that does, cuz i noticed that on nrg rom it never gave me that option but only once i added those two it work for me on a rom that i cooked using mystery kitchen).

Yes unzip the file I posted, and drop it in the kitchen folder under EXT/ Shared/ Packages....then fire up the kitchen and load the rom template you want then you can take out what ya want and you will see the handheld swipe option just make its set to true and you r good to go..

No go on the sense I just deleted the whole archive to start over again. tried mystery kitchen to see if it works. same thing just says loading htc sense what is really messed up is I made roms put them on the phone a few days ago with both kitchens. I tried adding the 2 packages to the mystery rom but I'm getting tired lol I will work on it again tomorow I am putting omj's sense 1.2 28002 rom on it that I did NOT build. and I left every SYS oh and the rom just came up. and the clock (sense) loaded so back to square one. I will research how to dump a rom tomorow a dump is just putting the list of what the build has so others can look at it right? I thought I would be clever and copy and paste the screen from the kitchen and slap it into a txt file or something. but that didn't work either. just not my night for phone rom building! hehe.
