OMJ,

Did you get a chance to give the TP NK.exe a try?

I used a package I got from mobileunderground (thanks to mwalt). The link is below.

http://www.mobileunderground.info/sh...8791#post28791

Basically, I took the nk.exe from the TP OEMXipKernel and put it in my 23541 rom folder. selected "Real WM 6.5 AMU" in the kitchen and cooked up a rom. It seems to have worked but don't really know how or what to test to see if there are any improvements. The TP package and a screenshot of the memory map are attached.

it actually worked?
i knew some made something like this for diamond gsm but not cdma...
so just to make sure... your phone works right?

edit: im cooking it right now... will let every one knows how it works... i'm gonna a use a non recmodded sys 21895 to check the diff... if it works... im gonna revert back all of my recmodded packages to not being recmodded..
thats how anyone of u guys who wants to use this will notice a speed difference. if u leave your sys recmodded and your packages recmodded... it would probably feel like almost the same speed.

yup...using it right now. but my sys is recmodded so maybe using a sys without recmodding will help increase the speed/performance. let me know how it goes. if things go well, i'm gonna try grabbing the original 23541 package and cook a new rom.

with that said, if i don't recmod the sys, what else can be done to save memory space?

ok so this is what i got going with all the sys not recmodded and with about 90% of the packages not recmodded.

SLOT 0: 0x02000000 - 0x01c00000 (END: 0x00060000, 0 MODULES)
0x02000000 - 0x01fc0000 - ROM 0
0x01f80000 - 0x01c00000 - ROM 1
SLOT 1: 0x04000000 - 0x02022000 (END: 0x02020000, 212 MODULES)
SLOT 60: 0x7a000000 - 0x7a000000 (END: 0x78020000, 0 MODULES)
SLOT 61: 0x7c000000 - 0x7a400000 (END: 0x7a020000, 181 MODULES)
RAM IMAGE: 0x80000000 - 0x803240a8
RAM: 0x80325000 - 0x80364000 - Used for kernel modules
0x80364000 - 0x83400000 - 48 MB free

looking good so far... everything is working...
i will have to run it for a little bit longer before i can actually say anything about how fast it really is... i used lzx also... i will try a non lzx version also when i'll have time.

sweet... yeah, i just cooked up a 28014 rom (i couldn't find the 23541 original package) without recmodding and will test it for a few hours.

either way, this is progress. Now you seasoned chefs can take it from here.

go to xda... there is actually a 23544 or 23545 right now going on... and since we don't need to recmod anymore... everyone can do it.
thanks for finding that post man... great find... and also many many thank's to mwalt.

I'm glad it worked, but you actually have to thank MOCEANWU. He suggested it in this thread or in OMJ's other thread. I can't figure out how none of us knew about it when they've been doing it in China for months lol.

Everyone should thank MOCEANWU, he was just that piece of the puzzle, does the real aku generally increase speed or make it easier to port sys because of no recmodding.

i saw a thread on xda a long time ago about it... but they said it wont work on cdma... they made some sort of a patched version from the pro's AKU.
anyways... never mind that...
so far no issues... and speed is faster... but im not sure if it is sys 21895 or the AKU... either way... i'm happy.

when u recmod things u basically take them out of the machine's memory or something like that... so accessing them takes a little longer... but now without recmodding.. they are there for faster access... so it should be faster.
and of course less of a headache to port sys for the diamond.
