When I built a ROM with the same SYS in both OMJ and Mystery, the number of modules listed in visualkitchen was approximately the same (around 460).

I was trying to figure out what else could be wrong. I noticed in visual kitchen, at the top where you select device, sys version, xip version, ROM name, etc; if I chose 24001 or whatever version in the drop down box for XIP before doing so for SYS, then the ROM would not boot. If I chose the version in SYS box before XIP box, then it did work.

Here's waht I mean:

never had than happen to me like u say.
but i might have a good point there...
i usually pick the xip first all the time... i go up->down, left->right.
maybe thats y i never had it happen to me.
i either got too many modules (around 550) or just a bootable rom from the new sys (around 400 modules).

Some observations based on my flashing frenzy last night.

I tried 21890, 24001, 28223, 23102, and 23519.

21890 is as fast as 21887-21889 which is good. Definitely the best normal 6.5 build I've tried!

28223 is not bad at all in terms of speed, but the HTC dialer doesn't work, so it's no good.

24001 is a very fast build , but it has missing textures so it's no good. It also has the beta build stuff which is somewhat annoying.

23519 seems to be pretty much identical to 23518, so it's speedy and it has threaded emailing. Nothing wrong with it at all.

23102 is by far the fastest out of the bunch. I haven't noticed any problems with it yet, and it's a keeper for me. It doesn't have threaded email, but people say you can port it over from the 2351x builds. Also seems to be the newest build with a date of 1/29/10.

Anyone know which HTC messaging EXT I'm suppose to use? I'm building a 28014 and some people are having issues with the text messaging. The only confirmed bug is that the menu softkey doesn't work on the text tab in sense, but I have someone telling me that it's freezing when they try to open all messages from the tab as well. Thats not happening to me though.

So, I downloaded 23102 from the mediafire link a couple pages back. Is there an easy way to move all the SYS file to the appropriate folders (COMMON, 0409, etc.), or do I have to do it manually?

Thanks,
JZR

gooodd stuff man...gooood stuff....any possible chance you can upload the 23102 and 23519 VK Sys that are Recmodded so i can give them a shot?? Just double checking, but your saying 23102 workss perfect with everything? Sense Htc Dialers, etc etc?

also, does anyone know how to port the threaded email over, i saw somewhere on xda that it was only 2 files you needed to have, not sure if thats true.

Thanks,

Everything needs to be done manually :( Only took about 5 minutes though.

I deleted 23519 (I have 200mb of free space lol), but I'll do 23102. I need to double check and make sure it works with OMJs kitchen (was cooking with Mysterys), and if it does, then I'll upload it. And it worked perfect with everything as far as I can tell.
