Also, the data connection appears not to be running when it's connected via USB (checked conn mgr again and it's definitely not running). Once I untether the phone, after its first update the data connection is always on, battery is hot, and battery drains insanely fast. So I have to assume it's an always-on. I can manually shut it off, but the next time it updates it stays on permanently again.

Anyone else having this issue with data connection not terminating after an update and draining the battery? I haven't expierienced it myself.

Actually, I found your ROM to be incredibly battery efficient compared to OMJ's. At the end of the day I still have 50% power left and that's after making several calls, updating emails every 15 minutes, browsing for 15-30 minutes etc. On OMJ's I would be dead by 7:00 pm. Oh.. and I undid the battery tweaks and set lumos so that I've got a very bright screen. Congrats on battery power.

On the dark side, I have trouble with your keyboard, it keeps on shifting to an unusable two key version (you can't get the 2nd key)... I find the dialer is really bad because it's hard to get the phone into speakerphone mode in a reasonable amount of time and ... it's extremely difficult to bring up voicemail because the notification band at the top is really unresponsive to touch. Minor niggles... you've done a great job on putting this rom out there

Oh and for the Telus people out there, it appears that Telus is blocking most of the TV sites. I can get MSNBC but nothing else.

Ugh, and I believe MSNBC just stopped working (although I have a new link with a working version to put in its place for the next update.) Can you run streams that use Windows Media Player but not the ones that use Coreplayer?

Have you tried the Phonex dialer? It is positively awesome. If you can use it let me know via PM and I'll send you the cab via email.

I can back up the equal or better battery life than OMJ's ROM too, at work I find myself sitting often with 30 - 60 minutes and nothing to do as a video compiles all the time and have taken to watching TV during these "forced breaks" resulting in much more continuous usage than I have done in the past and the battery seems to last even a little longer in my unofficial tracking

This is the best Sense 2.5 ROM I have tried so far! The graphics are very smooth. Love all the extra program memory you have left open.

I was wondering how to get the quick task manager open. It used to be up in the top right corner but now it is a clock. I read that you either double tap the clock or hold down the start button but those both don't work.

I could always just open the task manager program in start menu.... but that's an extra step or two and I'm lazy.

Also is there any way to fix the album viewer? It doesn't display correctly.

im testing out this rom and its very nice.. quick question about manila tv:
-does it matter what carrier you use? IE TELUS?
-does it matter what country you are in? IE Canada?

I have managed to get it to run a few times but not all channels work and i get errors for the most part. Are there any tweeks or settings i should be changing? PS youtube is flawless for me(if that matters)

I had to remove the quick task manager. It was causing several bugs. You might try mapping the Hold Send Key function to the system task manager.

Can you be more specific about the album viewer? Im not having any issues with it.

Yes I have seen others posting that Telus blocks several of the channels. I have no idea why though.
