I just sent a new text and replied to a text. Both cases the send button appeared to be working fine.

sorry about the splash screen in the first link. I grabbed the JPG pic and not the PNG.

to get the custom JIZZO ROM screen you will need to download again. (after I re~upload)

For you rapidshare haters we are going to post a ".torrent" link on the "main" post, which I am hosting.

But until it gets posted there, here is the link:
http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/5149...OM_[v.1.2]

It's also on mininova and I am going to use and post the Mininova link next version i just never have used Mininova to upload before.

Thank you for taking the time to try our ROM.

I got the EXT package from XDA I believe and will go hunt down the link now. I don't think I have the package installed completely right, that's why some features don't work.

Quote:

For chef's: when cook this packages you need to modify initflashfiles.dat in your kitchen
This is the part I think I messed up on.

Here is the EXT package link:

I know there are still a ton of bugs in this ROM, but I am hoping we can all work together to make a great 2.1 ROM for our Diamonds...

Maybe NRG will see what I have done and apply what he has done and he will make a ROM we will all love...

wait you mean in the standard windows mobile interface right? The issue with the send button is 1920 build in the htc messaging client interface. I was excited because I thought you sorted out the sms not sending issue for cdma, but it looks like you didnt include the htc messaging client at all?

ugh... rapidshare failure:

Currently a lot of users are downloading files. Please try again in 2 minutes or become a Premium member

So what did you do to fix the SMS sending issue? Did you leave out the messaging client, or did you decompile the LUA and dug in there for a fix? I have the send button on my own rom I built, but it doesn't send any texts ever.

just tried it, I do appreciate the effort put in, but dont bother Tenny the messaging client isnt there, which allows texts to send through the wm interface but its not worth it for me

I see, that's too bad.

I wish it'd at least prompt us for a SMS error... or something. The fact that it doesn't say anything really just ticks me off!

That's the one thing stopping me from releasing a 2.5 rom, as I have most everything running pretty smoothly with 1920 now.

What's the theory behind the sms not working? Does anyone know why it works on some devices but not others? There has to be a way to figure this out.

I know this is getting really frustrating, I just dont know enough lua to decompile and sort through, I'm sure the answer is in there

I only hope NRGZ is working behind the scenes on this for us cdma diamond users

Re: [11-6] [ROM] [Manila 2.5] [WM 6.5] JIZZO ROM [BETA]

Whoa whoa whoa.... Too many big words...

We are by no means able to decompile anything. We are just users who would like to see this all get worked out and stumbled on a combination that looks like it is almost usable.

Rather then blog down someone else's post with our needs we started this post.

How did we fix the SMS send button issue? We got lucky.... Idk... But what I do know is it wasn't anything special.

I don't want anyone on here to get the wrong idea about JIZZO ROM and our abilities as Chefs. We are novices at best. We giggle when the animated weather puts clouds on the home screen...

For some reason the settings are hidden you have to go into the registry and bring them back out.

If you don't know how to do that I can post the path...

Another way you can do this w/o having a registry edit, move the slider tab of Manila all the way to the right, and click the right soft button "Menu" -> "All Settings"

Do you guys have the MyLocation working for the weather? If so can you tell me what the google packages you are using are? In 1918 I was able to get it once or twice, but it'd never work after the first/second update. With 1920 it doesn't seem to want to work at all?
