OMJ can make it work. It's just 2.5 Manila is in development at the moment so getting things settled down and working will take a bit.

OMJ is sharing his rom with us so we get what he wants to offer. Once he puts out a kitchen, then we will be able to cook a rom up to our personal preference. I am very much looking forward to this and really appreciate OMJ coming back to give us so many great roms.

Like the others said... we are VERY VERY lucky that OMJ said he is going to release his kitchen when he gets time and gets it all cleaned up so we should just be patient and grateful he is planning to do so :) Then all his hard work getting 2.5 to work properly will be at our disposal to make all the roms we want with the programs we prefer

Maybe we should get him a maid!!! LOL

Anyone using the new 1.3 23504 having issues with sms? From what ive briefly glanced over this afternoon, this one doesnt have the htc messaging client?
what im experiencing is not being able to text when selected through the contact's menu, or when you select a text through the manila's sms tab. it goes to the sms tab of the contact's slider menu but only has a black screen.

sorry if that is confusing, i dont really know how to explain it correctly.

is it supposed to be this way for now or did i have a bad flash?

couldn't agree more Vancer. He has given this Diamond some life. it was starting to get a little bleak around here couple weeks ago. :headbang:

OMJ removed htc messaging client because it didnt work at the time. to use the text messaging tab, just select all messages which will take you into the window sms view. If you receive a message, you can view it the email tab or by selecting "all messages" on the tf txtmessage tab. Hope this helps.

i have been using the all messages for now, not a biggie. what do you mean by viewing a sms in the email tab?

Lots of anticipation in the air ... very cool. Sort of like old times, only better with OMJ back in the kitchen. Dave is right, Ken has really breathed new life into our Diamonds ... and as Paul said, it's a work in progress ... but if anyone can get it put together right, OMJ will.
