Yeah I was having keyboard issues with the new packages and 28002, but I did something and they went away. Now I can't figure out what I changed to make it work. I know for sure I think Bubblebreaker was messed up and MP3 Trimmer may have had something to do with it. Don't know for sure though.

Did you connect your phone and then try a windows update? The stock wmdc in windows 7 is broken and you will not be able to connect until you get the update.

well I went back to my 28002 v1.2 that i uploaded on 12/1...keyboard issue is not present. from there I added Opera 10 beta 2, X2 Task Manger & BubbleBreaker on sys 28005, and ppl reported keyboard issues on that rom. I've already traced backwards, cooked w/o opera 10 beta 2 & task manager on both 28008 & even 28002, and had the keyboard issue.

so maybe it is bubblebreaker....time to cook another

I had an issue with the first OMJ ROM I flashed and windows 7. I flashed to stock from NRG just fine, then flashed to OMJ from stock just fine as well. Once OMJ was installed, I could no longer sync with W7. I booted into my XP machine and was able to sync just fine. It seemed to be an anomolous result, and I have yet to experience it again...

I'm having a hard time getting this file to open on my computer. What program can I use to open this extension because WinRaR won't do it?

It's a 7zip file and WinRAR will open it just tell it to open with or associate it with WinRAR

sweeett... I finally got all kinks worked out (not with the rom, with what I was trying to do) thanks to you guys. can't wait for the new rom. If everything is running smooth, I'll go flash happy one more time.

I'm curious as to what version of Volume Control you got to work with the 6.5.3 sys as they have been incompatible with the new 6.5 sys' for a while.

I know you were joking, I didn't lose any sleep over it, especially since I called my doc right after I read that and he prescribed sleeping pills for me lol

speaking of keyboards, I sometimes like to use the block recognizing feature (I think that's the one, the one that you just write like you are writting on paper), is there anyway to get that back? if I use the sip keyboard changer that was posted somewhere on here, would that allow me to switch to that one or is it not cooked in?

I think that comes from using the no-flip clock animation hack (if OMJ cooked it in or you cab installed it). I quit using the tweak for that reason as the 1:23 flipping is less annoying than a clock reading 0:00 to me. I haven't had that problem since removing the no-flip hack from my rom.

Thanks I'll give it a try. I remember using it a while back and I didn't care for it personally when compared to HTC's version. I'll check out the new version.

All you need to do is replace the manila files and dll edited by the 12 links mod with the default vga-ported files. I've made a cab for you to do just that (it will retain the bg4all mod). It uninstall fine if 12 links was cooked into the rom.

A quick question... is there some sort of voicemail or missed call notification somewhere other than the top bar? The old Manila used to have one just below the clock, but I haven't found anything in Manila 2.5.

DOWNLOAD


-Added Opera 10 beta 2
-Added X2 Task Manager
-Added SetVolume
-Removed BubbleBreaker
-Removed PocketRAR

If you want SetVolume to autoload, copy...

\windows\start menu\programs\system tools\setvolume.lnk

to

\windows\startup


I am not 100% sold on 28008 yet, I had one lockup last night while reading email, havent had any today. Also, it seems abit laggy to me, so I stopped using setvolume for now. Setvolume is ok, but it's better than the stock volume bubble.

Why is bubble breaker messing up the keyboard? Is this only on 6.5.X sys? Im running the 21870 rom and bubble breaker works fine and i dont have sip issues.

OMJ I was just wondering why you don't include mortscript in your sense roms. Is there a technical reason or does it conflict with anything?

I see that... But now that the taskbar is even smaller, my old eyes have trouble discerning what those icons are! I'd like a simple notification on the home screen that tells me how many missed calls and how many VM I have at a glance. I can look at the sms tab-icon and that's easy enough.
Just sayin', it was a nice feature on the old Manila.

Quick question, is there a way to backup the config i have in Manila ? Since i try almost all the releases of OMJ i have a lot of things to do again and again.

I dont think so....unless you have the reg keys for each config, and used UC to add them back in
