I'm pretty much a programming noob and not sure what in all is needed to do that but I probably wold like making custom roms for the diamond to hold over the other hold outs heh. IF some one wants to show me the ropes I'd be glad to start.,

The best way to start is by d/l OMJ's kitchen, and practice cooking with his suggested .erv files (templates). From there you can experiment with adding some applications, and doing some reading in the rom development forum. Lots of good stuff there.

Hey omj,
Just installed this rom "OMJ_Diamond_SENSE_2.5_28014_v1.6" over my last omj rom to clear out some old files and reconfigure my phone. seems easier than hunting down and removing old temp dir's, caches and files. Found one little glitch so far with this version on my phone, when you reawaken it from sleeping or turn back on the screen, it shows like a mini version of the clock and weather in the top third of the screen. around the top of the bottom third of the screen there is a gray bar that i need to flip down and then it shows my home screen. Im not sure if this is a error or some feature someone likes but I would rather have the home screen or whatever program was running to show from waking up the device. Kick ass rom otherwise.

ok, I looked into this for ya.....I don't know what taskbar NRG uses, but based on his FAQ, it says:

now if u don't see the taskbar in that thread, you could load NRG's ROM, then copy these files to internal storage (see attached pic)

sorry, I don't have the time to find all the necessary packages.
