Anyone know what the latest/greatest CDMA dialer is? I don't really care so much about the facebook integration in the LEO dialer, I'd rather have working data arrows, working 911 and phone codes. Maybe I'll try my hand at cooking a custom rom with OMJ's kitchen.

The rhodium dialer from calkulins kitchen is the 'newest' vga ported cdma dialer I know of. It's Rhodium PhoneCanvas 3.40.35284.0 and may already be in OMJ's kitchen.

Hey Ken, love the new non/lzx rom! Btw, what are the codes for the utilities in the "phone codes" folder? Thanks.

they are just shortcuts to those codes....ie...##775#

But, when I select one of the codes it opens a screen that asks for an "unlock code." What is the unlock code and what does it unlock? Thanks!!

OMJ: what exactly is the issue between 911 and phone codes? BTW, I just don't see how your ROM can get better!

the LEO dialer is GSM, and wont do both phone codes & 911

the unlock code is your MSL...there are guides out there on how to obtain or you can call Sprint, tell them u need to hard reset & need the unlock code

Like OMJ explained..the unlock code is your MSL code...and one way is to call Sprint and tell them you need to reprogram your phone and need the MSL number or that you're doing a software upgrade and want the code just in case something goes wrong or whatever other reason you can think of.

If you don't want to do that, here's another option. I've personally used this method before and I know it works. There maybe other options to get the MSL code but these two are the one's I've used in the past.

I hope this helps!

I used the reg edit to enable 911 and as expected, the phone codes (e.g. ##778#) no longer work from the dialer. But that's no problem because all the phone codes may still be accessed through the shortcuts in the Phone Codes folder even after the reg edit.

Since the phone codes can be accessed through shortcuts, and in the default configuration 911 does not work (with no other work around), I propose that 911 be enabled by default and that phone codes be disabled.

I would hate for some non-technical person using this ROM to need to call 911 only to have their phone lock up on them. It is the safer way.

What do you guys think?

I'd agree with that.
