PPCGeeks - [DISCONTINUED] OMJ's HTC Sense 2.5 & 2.1 ROMs | WM 6.5 / WM 6.5.x

I flashed to OMJ (6.5.3 / Sense 2.5) now. Seems very nice so far, great work - thanks. I'm missing the programs tab but I'll live without :smile:
There is no programs tab on 6.5.3.

Has nothing to do with 6.5.3, but manila 2.5 doesnt have a programs tab. You swipe down on the main manila page to get to your quicklinks (which is basically the same thing)..

OMJ thanks a lot for the wallpaper fix I'll try it tonight and report back after a day or two of use and let u know if its ever appears again.

I've had that bug before...it's only ever happened to me if I used the program PIM backup to backup my contacts...if the contacts that you back up are linked to facebook, when you restore them they will give you the white squares for pictures until you go into their contact card and update their facebook info, then the pics should re appear. If you're not doing this to get the error then I can't help you but that's where I've seen it.

I still miss the programs tab, but am getting used to the Sense 2.5 style launcher by putting my 9 most used apps there. However, is there any setting to make it go back to a 3-column layout from the default WM start/launcher whenever I have to launch something from there? The default 4-column layout gets a lot on the screen at once, but the icons/description can be a bit tough to see with just a cursory scan. I find I really have to focus to see them.

Also, is there a rhyme/reason to how things flow when you try to drag and reorganize icons from that launcher? I was trying to set them up a certain way, but it never seems to flow just the way I want.

Still nothing regarding wm6 terminal service app working or is there something better for remote desktop?

two questions
how do i get that cool slider lock screen as shown in the screen shots on the first page of this thread?
second, when i receive text messages, the time stamp is the time downloaded, not the time sent like it usually is. is there a way to change this?

Well, to begin with, since Sprint Touch (and successors, Diamond & Touch Pro) battery life span sucks... I usually bought the highest mAh battery without having to change the cover. If the difference is not much then I go for the wider one even if I have to change cover. On HTC phones I have not done option 2, but I did get a higher mAh for it...
