I have a noob question about WinMo builds. I can see on my About screen that I have WinMo 6.5, Build 5.2.21887. I see you also have 28014, which I assume is Build 6.5.3.28014. I see now you are playing with 25006. Does that mean it is 6.5.2.25006? Since 6.5.3 is the latest iteration, where do new versions of 6.5.2 come from? Is there a stability issue with 6.5.3 that causes people to trust it less and want to stick with some iteration of 6.5.2? I guess that's 3 questions....

Regarding Slide2Shutdown versus ShutXP, it's just a preference thing. I think it's better because it's got larger, more finger-friendly and attractive buttons, and the sliders are less error-prone than the tiny buttons on ShutXP.

It's not really easy to tell the difference between 6.5.3 and earlier builds. The big difference is between the 21000 builds, which have top buttons, and the the higher builds, which have big finger-friendly bottom buttons. It used to be that people said the 21000 builds were faster and more stable, but lately I've started to see people who feel the opposite, so there may not be much of a difference in terms of speed and stability anymore, and it may just be a preference thing.

You're right about the hassle of the missing VM banner. My 2.5 fix for the voicemail button is to make one of the 6 Quick Link tabs beneath the Clock and Calendar a link to my contact card. It dials me and goes right to voicemail.

OMJ, for the next version, could you see about getting the AGPS in Google Maps working again? It seems like it doesn't work anymore regardless of whether it's installed to memory or to internal storage.

I can confirm that AGPS isnt working for me either. It used to work wonderfully on your first few sense 2.5 roms - launch Google Maps and BAM! - instant location...sometimes as accurate as real GPS.

Bummer too cuz having AGPS is really useful in NYC where you are often in tall buildings with no way of locking on to the GPS satellites (sans going outside of course).
