Is anyone else having problems with your MMS pictures received being really small. Every time I get a picture it is tiny like 10K. I can't even make out the picture half of the time. I think it has something to do with the Arcsoft registry header, but I can't figure it out. I tried some different options but they didn't work. Is anybody getting larger pictures that take up more of the screen?

This description is exactly the same problem as I had with the Manila locker. I am not using it currently, but the rom is still excellent.

maybe a bad flash....my exchange sync is working fine....I'm getting me email real time.

It automatically installs cabs to either main memory or internal storage, restores owner information, restores email accounts, runs .reg's or xml's, and copies files from internal storage to a directory on main memory if you want (I use it to copy my rings since they use twice the space when cooked into the ROM - they end up in /windows and /windows/rings). It's a real time saver for me. Compliant just means that the ROM will run SASHIMI on the second boot (the one after the customization). You can also run SASHIMI manually by running SASHIMI.exe from \Internal Storage\SASHIMI\Program\Bin. You can find a pretty detailed thread here.

hey mwalt....not sure if u saw the discussion about SASHIMI in my kitchen thread, but if you could post your SASHIMI package over there, i'd appreciate it.....thx

if u have changed your wallpaper & want to go back to default weather wallpaper, try going to \HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila and remove the contents of "HomeBackgroundPath", then reboot. if it's already blank, then check "AnimatedBackgroundPath".

I havent seen any random reboots, but I have had 1 freeze....not sure if it's related to manila locker or something else.

Hey OMJ,

First - love the ROM. It works great. I have one issue with the newer builds though. I use PIM backup to backup / restore my contacts. When I restore, I only restore my contacts, I don't bother with the other stuff. I am currently running your latest Sense 2.5 28014 build.

Lately when I restore my contacts, then try to go and compose a new text message and click on the 'To' button, all I see is the first name in the list, along with part of their avatar (I only have pics set for a few contacts). The rest of the list shows blank, but if I scroll down and click on a blank space, I still select a contact name even though they aren't showing (hope this makes sense). If I go to my contacts tab, I see all my contacts properly. Sorry, I can't attach a screen shot right now (I'm at work), but if you need to see it I can attach one later today. I have tried to re-flash, hard reset, and also flash back to stock then back to your ROM with the same results. Could this be something hanging around in my storage that needs to be cleared causing the issue? Any thoughts?

Cheers! :thumbleft:

yes, I see what you seeing....I dont normally compose new msgs from the native wm screen, I usually use manila. My contacts are synced/restored via exchange, when I try to compose a new msg via native wm, aftering hitting "To", my list is blank, but if I arrow down and the grey highlighted bar appears, I can see the contacts name & half of the avatar. This appears to be related to an updated package I'm using, it may have some WVGA settings that's causing this issue.....I'll do some checking.

also, JQuill....I finally see the bottom black bar you are seeing (well its black on mine, cuz I'm using the default background), it's not very big, but nonetheless I see it, and will try to figure it out.

you can check this reg setting:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\Manila\InternetPus h]

Thanks, I made that change, and now the thumbnails are showing up for the bookmarks. However, it seems like they don't update, they're just pretty thumbnails. Are they supposed to change on their own and update?

I sure have... I wouldn't have a problem with it, but since I'm on cricket, I sometimes have to switch prl's on the spot since I travel alot.

Is there a way to speed up the album & music rotation? A reg edit maybe? Besides what's been said, everything is running great!

I honestly dont know much about InternetPush, when I was using Opera 9.7, I used the thumbnails, but never looked into the auto-update. I've since moved to Opera 10 which doesnt work w/ the thumbnails.

All I can suggest is to search here & @ XDA to find out whats needed to make it work.

sorry, but I dont have an answer for ya....I know others have reported this, and the issue exists in calkulins kitchen but not sure how to fix. I can only suggest to search the site, someone may have the solution.

I dont think the rotation can be sped up, this was ported by the XDA guys....
