Can anybody running this rom or any rom that has ezinput 2.xx + on it confirm that this will work to get the "phone keypad" up and running?

After about 20 flashes in the last couple days i finally built a 21876 rom in Calk's VK that i like pretty good and don't want to flash just yet just to see if this will work and i didn't put any of these exinput 2.x keyboards in my current rom.

YES, it DOES work. All keyboards show up and Phone keypad works (which I like as well). The problem is, the registry changes back to 0 for your next message. Can someone make a cab to keep the registry key 1? Thanks

Very cool to hear! If someone cabs it up and it works full time will you let me know? Once it's working and sticks i'll be building a new rom with one of the 2.x exinput keyboards and getting rid of the Touch HD ezinput 1.x i'm using now... those new keyboards are MUCH better plus the green offsets will match my new rom much better :)

I would like those keyboards to work in this rom too. Has anyone figured out how to get custom weather to work?

Here's a wierd one for ya...

When i build 218xx roms and i think yours did this too... I notice that the birthdays on the contacts that i've set a birthday are off by one day in the phone?

- I have ran the outlook time zone update on the pc
- I have the windowsmobile-kb975353.cab installed on the phone
- None of the calendar recr. appts are off by an hour like i would have exptected and would have explained the birthday being off by a day
- I can manually update the birthday on the phone and it sticks in the phone and doesn't change the birthday in outlook so all are correct (I just have to do it everytime i flash and sync which sucks)

Now the strange part... this doesn't happen on the 23504 rom?? makes me think there is something diff or not updated in the 218xx SYS'

What do ya think?

This rom has a 2.x ezinput, omj installed it and fingerkbd, but it will only show up full qwerty. I thought you changed the reg and got the phone keypad to come up but not stay?

True? Or have i misunderstood you?

arcsoft picturemail started working...not sure what happened the first time. shame it saves pics to main memory, though.

I would think there is a reg to change where is saves, not too familar with arcsoft but I bet you can find it

Did anybody notice that Manila 2.5 (aka Sense) saves your fav contacts and all that info even after a factory reset and you sync all your contacts. I wonder does it have the ability to restore all your settings like ringtones, bookmarks .... like the blackberry
That would be awsome you can flash how many times you want and it still will have all your info saved.

twitter for one is working! I should have it ready by the morning....1st one will be 21870
