thanks for the screen shots! ok the grey spot you say is a gap is actually the background...

The dialpad, i am working on now.. not sure why it is doing that but hopefully will be cured soon (looks like a reg issue/6.5.x issue)

yeah the advanced config should work just fine in this rom.. try it and let me know.. if it doesnt ill cook it in.

look for an update in a day or so...

Wow, the moment you said that I looked at the phone and yes, your correct. It was like an eye puzzle to me but now I clearly see that it's part of the background. :D

Advanced Configuration Tool 3.3 does remove the un-needed tabs.

I eagerly await the results of the edits to get the contacts and keypad buttons working. Again, thanks for all the work. The phone will be in heavy use over the next few days and if I come across anything else I'll let you know.

*edit - download link is broken. It sits there "starting the download" and then times out. Gonna try again in a couple hours.
