Wow.

That's really my review. :D

This has to be the best stock rom out there, it's fast, simple, looks great and just plain works! Once I add a few cabs to it for the couple apps I use, it does exactly what I need in a phone.

Only two noticeable things so far, one cosmetic and the other kinda important.

When you open the dialer and press the contacts button it is still broken. This time however it doesn't do anything whereas before it would open an options menu.

I noticed that when adding my city to the weather tab while in the city selection menu it functions as normal but the typical highlighting that occurs when you select items was not appearing. It's only a cosmetic issue but figured I should point it out. Mind you it could just be how the new style is.. :)

If the contacts button can be fixed on the dialer this is the perfect rom for anyone wanting a updated stock style rom.

Thanks man, i figured out the problem... its linked to the manila 2.1 contacts. need to re-route it and it should be good to go!

Minor annoyance I'm finding..

The phone will "wake up" (lights up, shows incoming call) for lack of a better term on incoming calls but takes about 3-5 seconds to actually start ringing. Then audibly ring twice before dumping to voicemail. I find that the slide to answer feature really laggy/unresponsice during this "wake up" period and it leads to a lot of missed calls. I'm going to mess around with voice mail settings to see if ring time can be increased before taking over. If you have any recommendations on tweaks to assist this I'm all ears.

now i have had that problem before but it wasnt my rom, it was mainly the network taking forever to send the call to my phone (had it with the stock, and every custom rom i have tried) let me check into a tweak and hopefully will resolve that in the next release

I had to flash back to stock until the next release. I am not able to answer calls anymore with this rom for some reason. You can tell there is an incoming call as the circular button will start to lightup but it takes a good 3-5 seconds for the screen to turn on and give you the "slide to unlock" but it is so glitchy and unresponsive when it actually appears that you'll miss the call struggling to get it to respond to touch.

The funny part is that I've started having people call me right back since I can't ever answer a call the first time around and when they do the phone works. It's like there's something acting up when it's coming out of sleep mode that just bogs the thing down.

Food for thought I guess...

The stock rom works fine but is just so horrible so I've been playing around with the OMJ rom and I'm able to take incoming calls normally as well.

Hopefully it's something simple. I eagerly await the next release!

i have been having a few problems with the latest sys, but once i get them tweaked, i will be dropping a new release. i think i have the phone canvas problem fixed also :D
