I don't know how you do it, but once again, this is easily the smoothest ROM I've ever used.
The opera build included is also simply awesome!

I haven't sent any texts yet so I cannot comment on the above issue

EDIT: I can confirm, outgoing texts do not show up in manila SMS interface :-/
Additionally, going to All Messages shows taht I have no messages at all, even though they show up everywhere else.

Hello, I noticed the Opera Build is fairly new. I think I tried a cab version of this version but noticed that Downloads cannot be saved to internal storage. It created an internal storage folder in device memory. Just wanted to see if you noticed this with the latest rom. I am planning of flashing it later on but was curious if this was the case.

Gadget...the update is beautiful. I am having one issue with texting. I don't know if the previous texting issue is the same but here it is...When I send a new text, the message sends fine and shows up normally. When I go into an established thread and send one from there, it does not send at all (tested with a couple of recipients). I think that is what the above poster was talking about, but it goes further than that with the texts not going through at all.

It errors out after 5-15 minutes and gives an error code 96 saying that the sms could not be sent.

I lost (greyed out) the wi-fi setting on the comm manager tab in V1.7. How do I get this back?

So far, I've noticed the new SMS only functions correctly from.ALL MESSAGES...does not allow sending from main page or contacts. Also noticed the battery.savings cab is missing from system tools.....battery.life still seems better than last version.

Actually, SMS in general is really buggy for me. If I use the All Messages interface it just freezes up completely and i have to reset to get anythin working again.

Other than that, completely solid.

Based on what you all are saying, I'm getting close to pulling the messaging client. I like the way it looks, but since I don't text all that much (Mainly my wife and my boss. Sad...) I just haven't been noticing these issues. Also, it may be a day or so before anything new goes up. I just got home from work about an hour ago after the day from... Well, you know what I mean. My brain is totally fried at this point. :banghead:

No problem! I think that yeah, if you remove the messaging client, this ROM will be perfect. I haven't experienced any other noticeable issues (save for the opera build not saving to internal storage [small sacrifice for such an awesome build in my eyes])

I would like to say I liked the new dialer, but since the number is on the right of the picture instead of below it, the majority of the digits that matter are now off screen :(.
