Longhorn ROM

Hi all some of you might not know me but i am pretty good and making Touch Pro ROMS. Well i fianlly got some extra time so i decided to make other diamond rom with the new 2.1 touch flow and some new themes that fit with 23028.

Hey glad to have a new cook around here, Once your links are up I will give your rom a shot, one of the biggest problems I have seen with the diamond rom releases lately, is that there seems to be slight difference between diamond and touchpro that causes issues for us diamond users (mainly with the scroll wheel / button) and other little things.

I will let you know any bugs I find along these lines, although I wish there was a diamond rom that was actually made by someone who owns a diamond. (I am not specifically aware of any, please let me know if you know who is, it seems like most cooks are touchpro guys that flow over into diamond.) Anyways, any special consideration and effort into making the rom fully diamond compatible is appreciated.

Again, glad to see another rom released and I will let you know how it goes. Thanks.

Well Groove has a Diamond phone and a Touch Pro and i used his kitchen with his mods and my mods combined and made a really great ROM for my phone which is a TP but he also included Diamond files and what not so hopefully this will work correctly and 4 min left for the tf3d2 rom will be up

Flash went good.

There are a number of broken Links: Total Commander, Opera, Etc in the programs Tab... and the start up sound is quite choppy.

ok those are default programs loaded into tf3d2 and i just dont install them idk havent found them the code is in the mania files which i dont feel like going through like a 1000 files looking for something to small to fix just delete the ones that dont work and put what you want...also the choppy is because of the animation its a little to big of a file :D

Yeah, I figured as much.

I also just experienced random freezing. Caused me to soft reset - then the ROM hung on the TOUCH DIAMOND screen. I hard reset, and the customization didnt fully load and froze up.

THis may be the start of something good -just needs a little more work - I'll have to flash to soething more stable for now.

Dodge - how difficult is it to make 'pictures' point to 'Album' instead of pictures and video.

I'm not asking you to change your rom, it's my perference. I figure it can be done with Chrome editor ??? but not sure how difficult it is.

proably not to hard but in what in titanium or for tf3d2 to be more specfic

thats the same prob i had yesterday! this is a very fast rom and i kept having to do hard resets.. i would have flashed back to stock(uscc), then back to longhorns, but i couldnt find a stock uscc ruu. i flashed back to my trusty dcd 1.08 for now... im a flashaholic so ill definately be tryin your next build.. thanks

new titanium is up the tf3d2 and the right taskbar cab will be up soon today hopefully i fixed the problems some of you guys were having :D

Hey Dodge, thanks for this rom. looks great! question, do you just have fingerkeyboard in this rom or another htc sip as well? Also, the taskbar listed on the first page, is this the one from your pics on the first page?

no i need to change that the taskbar.cab on the OP its not the one iam using it was a mistake.. also there are other fingerkeyboards on the ROM

edit: installed the titanium 23007 rom and is working very well. Just one question. This doesn't appear to be a loaded rom but after installation I only have 26.3mb available storage memory. Not sure if it's a bad flash or I am missing something. will continue to test it out.

really what is your inital storage amount total that the diamond has any ways out of curiosty.

I don't know the exact amount of space but groove's ultralite rom is most stripped one out there. It has 143mb available after flash with about 4mb running. Groove's regular rom has approximately 63mb available after flash. I mentioned the memory available in your rom because it didn't seem right because you don't have tf3d cooked in and have a decent amount of programs but not too many. just something to look into to. rom is running great. thanks again.

Ok I have a question, I didn't quite see it. I'm using this rom, but is anyone else having issues with the programs on the rhodium programs menu, I can't add my programs that I would like to use on the menu slider (or whatever you call it), neither can I add my fav people. I would like to know if there is a fix, (or if I'm just doing something wrong..lol)

its just some bugs in tf3d2 i need to update this but been so bussy i havent had a chance to make a new diamond rom yet.
