First off, love the quality of your ROM. The only problem I have with it so far is that it show like I'm always roaming (I'm with Bell Canada CDMA). Any suggestion?

What program is used to do that shutdown menu (along with the scheduler) that pops up if you hold the power button in this ROM? I cannot seem to find the name anywhere.

Yeah I forgot to include all the files necessary for the RUUUpgrade.exe to launch and flash the ROM. If you already downloaded it you can just put the .nbh file in the folder of another ROM and flash that way... or just redownload the file. I'm reuploading it now....


I wish someone made a single exe wrapper for the CDMA Diamond.. it would make life so much easier

What happen to the 7/25/09 rom. Are you changing something else?

Here's what's on the menu today...

This is an HTC CDMA Diamond ROM, based on Windows Mobile 6.5. The current build number and date can be seen in the title of this thread.

I always build my ROMs with three main goals.

• Eye candy.
• Speed!
• Smoothness, consistency and good esthetics.

I preconfigure a lot of things in my ROM, because when I flash it on my phone, I want it ready to go, how I'd want it. So, expect the backlight to be set at the maximum brightness, the ringtone, sms/email and other notifications to already be set.

You will find a new ROM posted here every few days, as I always update them with the latest "ingredients" that come down the pipe, from either Microsoft or HTC. Because of that, I recommend learning to backup your settings with either Sashimi or UC (User Customization).


I usually make 4 versions of the ROM. If you don't see one in the download directory, it either means I haven't uploaded it OR I'm not making one for the current release yet.

Here are the different versions and what they mean.

• "Standard" includes the new TF3D2 (Rhodium Manila) along with the standard Windows Mobile 6.5 today plugin (Titanium) and the Tachi dialer

• "Standard_RD" includes all of the above but with the Regular Dialer (HTC)

• "Titanium" only includes the Titanium today plugin. No Manila in this version. This also includes the regular HTC dialer

• "OldManila" includes the older TF3D Manila (as seen on a stock ROM), plus Titanium. This also includes the regular HTC dialer

• Increased pagepool to 26 for even faster performance
• Updated to the 21921 SYS posted by Da_G (thanks dude! None of this would be possible without you!)
• You will notice larger title bars and lists (look at Notes, Tasks, Email app) which MS is doing to improve navigation by finger
• More stuff trimmed, faster bootup and initial setup
• Lots more that I forgot to keep track of... heh

• New Home screen layout thanks to cmylxgo

• Fixed squished letters on the side of the "All People" screen in Manila
• Added "RD" build which stands for "Regular Dialer". This build includes the normal dialer (not the Tachi dialer)
• Message enhancement package removed for the "RD" build, so you can actually make calls from emails with phone numbers in them
• Rearranged stuff in the Tweaks section
• Fixed a few graphics glitches in the Comm Manager
• Highlighting in the dialer is blue now
• Some more cruft removed
• Increased the finger menus speed
• Still at 23001 in case you're wondering. 23003 and 23004 have graphics and power issues.

Maybe I need to feel everyone in on the event of the 7/25/09 early this morning. I was online about 2am central time and he posted a revised rom for about 20 minutes...I downloaded it...then it was gone. I just didn't want to flash it if he had more changes coming.

So the roms posted now are not the rom from this morning.

downloaded the rom that was up around 145am - 2am CST this morning. Flashed my diamond and havn't noticed anything different with it. Any ideas when the new one will be posted and what changes it includes? Like the rom alot, just seeing whats different with the new rom.

I like this rom too but there is a few things I would like out of the rom and some apps in there place. I think since he has a Touch Pro...I think thats his thing, so I think thats where we'll find him. I wished he would put out a kitchen for this. I could make a very nice rom for me if he did... but I understand why some cooks don't.

* Only GPS app needed is Google map and Quick GPS
* Clear clock with black numbers or white will do.
* Remove the taskbar notification or tell me how to disable it
