yeah, couldnt see that much of a difference, still same problem with picture mail as before.. what do we have to do to get a good compact qwerty cooked in the rom... finger keyboard is good but i would like a compact qwerty with finger keyboard features...

The 29007 is running nicely. Much quicker and more stable than the Nov. 03 release.

I'm enjoying the 29007 GTX-themed ROM currently. I forgot when I flashed it that NRG's ROMs default to not locking any buttons when the screen is off, so my battery ran out pretty quickly the first day as my screen kept turning on in my pocket. Once I remembered to switch it back to my preference (lock all buttons except power), the battery life has been solid. Performance is good for the most part. As good as a Sense ROM can be on an outdated device like the Diamond, anyways!

Thanks NRG, for continuing to support the ancient Diamonds, so those of us unwilling to pay early termination fees can still play with newer software technology while we count down the days to the end of our contracts!

WiFI Issues
 

Hi

Am using Energy.VICTOR.29007.Titanium.Jan.18.7z, WiFi is not connecting, it says password error (am using correct PW, as my other phones - Viva & HTC 9199 works fine), screen hangs.

I was using MikRom I change to Energy Titanium for speed.

Am in Nanjing, China.

Help required.

Got a wifirouter question...

On the Titanium 21916 build I couldnt get wifirouter to work so I tried the Titanium 29007 build and wifirouter works now. Is this a known problem with 21916 or should I just flash a few more times to see if it starts working? I kind of like 21916 better because the bar at the bottom is a little shorter making for more usable screen and on a Touch Diamond I need all the screen real estate I can get.

useing the 29007 release from jan 6th. every time i connect my diamond to the pc it freezes my mouse.... didnt ever do that before.

There is not a lot you can do once you flash a rom in terms of freeing up memory. You might try running cleanram, but that only tends to be a temporary solution as you start up new apps. If you really like that rom, you can try stripping out stuff, and reflashing. Otherwise you might want to check out the other available roms, although there isn't a lot that is new as most developers, including myself, have migrated to other phones.

Thanks for your explanation. So, how to stripping out stuff? Is it related to the kitchen? Why other ROM have total storage ± 70 Mb and Energy ROM have only ± 50 Mb? :scratch:
