i tried the Max Sense UI for a couple weeks and I liked it for the most part (build 21916). I believe it was stated that there were some errors, so I knew it would have some issues, but I'm going to try one of the sencity rom next. That one looks pretty cool.

i'm just gonna list the errors i found. i don't know if there's a fix for them and i didn't search since i'm switching ROM's. Just an FYI for anyone looking.

1) on the text message screen the name of the person who texted me was so high up i could only see the bottom of their name so i actually had to go into the threaded message to see who it was from.

2) the screen rotation doesn't seem to work right. the home screen is just the icon screen. and when you type on a rotated screen (as in a text message) the t9 doesn't work right. i've noticed this in other ROM's as well so if anyone has a fix for that, that would be nice

3) also had the #777 problem, but i've had that in all ROM's including stock. i can fix the problem by either doing a soft reset or by recreating the connection. it's just a PITA. i'm wondering if this is a sprint problem or something inherent in the software that no one is able to fix.

4) random white squares in the list of programs that do nothing.

I'd like to say that i'm by no means complaining, this is just an FYI for anyone looking at the ROM and for NRG if he wants to know what's going on. There was a lot I really liked about this ROM and I give NRG and other ROM developers major kudos for taking the time to develop these ROM's for us.

I loved the wallpapers included, the icon styles, the layout, the weather on the home page (this is one of my favorite features on any ROM), and although this may sound minor, i love the liittle synth sound you hear when you adjust the volume. i thought that was a nice little touch. all the little things included that make this ROM standout I noticed and appreciate because it could have just looked good, but the extra time put in makes it great. and aside from some freezing up here and there, it actually ran pretty smooth for me. Unfortunately, I have had recurrent problems with the last couple builds:

1) no sound played when the phone rings. Messed with all the settings and can't get it to work consistently. I get the notification that I missed a call or have a message waiting though.

2) alarm function not working consistently. Galarm has fixed this

These are the two biggest issues.

I am using 23699 build of .sencity (nov 27) and also getting the no sound when someone calls me. Alerts (texting, missed calls, etc) all work though. have not tested alarm but i would use galarm anyways.

this is just a question regarding data connection. Using the 23699 .sencity energry, I had to for the first time do the #777 (or whatever it was) data connection method. however I noticed that when going to the notification bar (top right corner) it shows how long the data connection has been active for, something that i've never seen. Is this something odd? Does it mean it's been connected the entire time it's on? I always thought it would stop being connected when idle or not using internet.

I also have the "won't ring" problem. The touchwheel lights up, but no ringing when someone calls.

Switching from the HTC dialer to the stock dialer works... but the stock dialer is lousy (it won't impromptu phone numbers from the HTC messenger app.)

Overall, still an amazing ROM. It would just be great if my phone rang

This appears to be a volume problem of sort. When I change the volume level in the registry the phone will ring again... temporarily. Eventually something in the phone/ROM will screw up the volume again without warning.

Swapped over to the 21916 build and it's amazing! My only complaint is that when your on a call the screen will turn off immediately. You can turn it back on by pressing the power button but it will turn off immediately even if your trying to use the screen. This is problematic when you need to try hit keys to get thru automated phone systems, is there a way to fix this?

Not sure if there is a fix. maybe try diamond tweak or advanced config?

But if the dialer actually rings on this older release its definitly worth the downgrade from the newest release.

I also noticed sound problems with other programs like Kinomo player- so I'll try to roll back my ROM. Is the best way to roll back to start from scratch?

completely missed the release of 23150 dec 6 release..
was using nov 27 until now. Going to update and see if ringer problem still exists. if so, back to 21916

seems 23150 does not have the ringer problem can hear my ringtones.
