I don't think NRG checks this thread regularly (since the ringer problem existed in the previous ROMs also) so he's probably unaware there's a problem. Is recmod only something the chefs can do before/while cooking the ROM? Or can we use HTrie to extract the files and do it ourselves?

Yea u can use htcrie tool and copy the folders that needs to be remodded. once you do that you replace the lder folders with files. Its pretty difficult and i dnt think its worth it. It would be best for someone to try to get in touch with him and ask him to do it before he cooks because more than likely all his updates will be like this from now on and it will be a pain to do this evrytime.

in the last two releases I'm having trouble connecting through wifi, it detects them but refuses to connect to them, if it does it just goes back to looping the connection process. I depend on the wifi, I tried changing radios but that didn't help either.

I'm beginning to get extremely frustrated with the last two roms. Everything worked fine in the 28014 dusk roms, but I've had nothing but problems with the most recent. Can't seem to reach the chef through twitter either.

I've gotten far to frustrated over this so I went back to 28014. In the newest release for feb 26 was worse than the one before it, wifi refuses to work, the keyboard keeps getting stuck on the screen as does the internet media player after going to full screen. The ring problem has been mentioned, Max manillia doesn't work right either but that's a different problem. I'm going back to the stable release. Once the problems have been addressed I'll upgrade but for now I'm stick with functionality.

I think we should form a list of errors on the VICTOR rom and present this to him, because he is still working on the ROM but cannot test it, so he should be able to fix errors.

on the 2/26 ROM

1) WIFI is not working (with OR without encryption.)
2) Youtube is not working

*I have noticed people complaining about the ringer I have not been able to reproduce this error, when I get a call my phone definitely rings the nice HOUSE theme.

I think we should compile all the errors, then present them to NRG for a quick fix.

The YouTube error is also caused by too many moducules, so he will need to recmoc a few moducules to get the ringer and YouTube working. I am currently using his 21891 sense 2.1 release from Feb.08, and everything is working fine for me, ringer, youtube, wifi, etc.

I am running 23541 and I can't for the life of me get the AUTOROTATE to work on any application?? I even made certain "fixed landscape" mode is turned off in my advanced config. I only have this problem with beta ROMs and not the 21892.

Does anyone have a solution to get the autorotate to work in 23541?

So far the issues I've seen are as follows if anyone wants to message the chef.

1.) Ringer doesn't work on some phones
2.) wifi refuses to connect
3.) keyboard and fullscreen media players stick on the screen even after witching to new screens.


am I missing any?
