Re: [ ROM ] [ CDMA ] [ VICTOR ] [ 06.09.09 ] [ Windows® Build 21731 ] MightyROM5

I can't get ActiveSync to work :/

Update: I can sync the phone with Bluetooth, but when I connect the phone to the computer using USB, the computer doesn't even beep, it's like it didn't even realize a phone was plugged in. I hard reseted the phone a few times, restarted the computer, and tried every single USB slots... any ideas?

Mighty

I'm experiencing the problem with activesync as well. I tried a soft-reset, hardreset and reboot of the computer.
Otherwise, it is very smooth and fast
thanks for this ROM

I can confirm that USB functionality is not working for me in this release. When I look under Activesync settings, where there is the checkbox to always sync via the connection in the box below, there are no entries to choose from in the box, whereas there used to be something like 'USB.

Hard and soft resets did not work. Disk drive connection does not work. Now trying to transfer a different rom via bluetooth to the InternalStorage for triggered boot mode flash. Bluetooth seems to be working fine.

I have been having a similar problem with lost USB connectivity (activesync and disk drive), although I am running R3BORN (June 3 version). Unfortunately, the problem did not go away when I flashed back to shipped nor when I re-flashed to R3BORN.

Those who are having a similar problem, please let me know if it goes away when you flash back to shipped or another ROM.

yep...something dealing with the USB to PC functionality is definitely missing in this rom...when i to reflash, the ROMUpdateUtility doesn't recognize my device so i have to do the "pull the battery out, put it back in, press and hold Volume down + the power button on top, and then insert the stylus into the reset button on the back" trick to force the bootloader screen...it reads the device then...love your work, especially your latest MR4 release so i'll be anxiously waiting for this problem to be fixed!

Save yourself the trouble of hand contortions - use the methods outlined in this post (no stylus or battery removal required!).
