these two work very well. thanks to Calcu rom thread. Here they are: The first one has no arrows and is pretty much the stock keyboard from diamond rom.

thanks, I'm not seeing sipgt_app.exe running w/.fred or anything. Seems the touch hd ezinput worked anyways though. Thanks again.

Edit: it appears i was once again mistaken. The keybaord installs and all fine but it seems to be stuck in character input mode even though I made sure it's turned off any place I could think of. Anyone have any ideas?

Could someone please verify...

1. Bring up the phone app and navigate down to one of your speed dials.

2. Select the entry with the center button on your diamond.

In my case, instead of dialing the selected entry, the speed dial contact screen would appear and the only option is to delete the entry.

In the Sprint ROM, selecting a speed dial entry would dial the selected entry!

Could someone please verify.

I'm not sure what you mean by Speeddial. I think you're talking about the Call history list on the dialer page? The thing just above the dialpad?

I scroll that list, with the wheel and hit center and brings up a list of options to call that person.

If that's not what you're talking about, just let me know, happy to help.

Did you apply the HTC dialer or something?

I also brought up the dialer, clicked MENU, SPEED DIAL and added some entries. Scroll down and press center button, it dialed them there too.

So, everything appears to be working, at least on my end. I install programs, but I don't apply any custom skins or icons or anything. FYI.

I really like the ROM, gives a lot more flexibility to start with just the bare minimum then add on only the CABs you need.

I'm having trouble digging up some CABs for HTC stuff though, specifically:

- QuickGPS (found a Diamond 2 CAB but comes up garbled)
- Audio Booster
- Maybe Teeter?

Does anyone know of a good spot where I could get some of these CABs?
