Pretty nice. Worth trying for sure. Better than 23414 by a long shot IMHO.

When your new it takes a while and the Diamond crowd is hard to change. I have been doing diamond ROM s for about 9 months now and.... Still hard to get a people to participate. Stay vigilant and make the ROMS the way you want them to be.

I was trying to cook a [6.5]

is this one of the problems I have heard that several hard resets will fix?

maybe I turned off the email not realizing the name of the line item.

No, that sounds like something flashing a stock ROM might help but before you do all that let me test it out. 23017 has been a long time favorite for me... I can test it real quick.

Is there anything else that seems out of place on the ROM?

EDIT: WOW, I cant find my Diamond this morning! Not good!

RileyD Can you test out 23017 if you get a chance? I litterally cannot find my phone. Can anyone test or report email results?

I have tried flashing back to stock.. no help.

one thing I did was disabled all the Titanium stuff. Just saw there was at least 1 line in Titanium that said Do Not Make False...

loading it now.

I am flashing a SSK Prebuilt ROM now.

Are you saving your selections? If so you upload the .erv file to the post and I can takea look at it as well as the build log. IM sure it ssomething simple.

I am new to this so I will try...

I did save it.

Build_log.txt:
Your file of 230.3 KB bytes exceeds the forum's limit of 19.5 KB for this filetype.

It also says my .erv is invalid

Zip them up into a ZIP file. That should allow for upload.

AS well, after finding my Diamond I flashed SSK 3.0 build 23017 and it seems to work well. No issues with email as reported. I can create a new account and delete current accounts.

Maybe it is something that is being cooked. Are you loading the SSK 3.0 Build 23017.ERV file first or are you trying to create from scratch?

That message will go away the first time you run AT Contacts and won't come back.

Either try replacing the TOOLS folder in the kitchen, or if you can't, then unzip and use a fresh kitchen. The tools folder sometimes causes this issue.

No way right now that I know of....I tried a "tweak" cab that was supposed to do it, but it screwed up other items on the task bar (On my TouchPro).

If you find one, let us know...I'd like to try it

You can however shut the task manager off in the control panel.

Just flashed over to this rom (6.5.1) and am loving it thus far. I was on 2.7 previously and somehow bricked my phone when trying to connect it to Windows 7. Regardless, the new rom is slick.

Re: [10-24-09] *SSK 3.0 Final* - ROMS and Visual Kitchen (WM 6.1, WM 6.5, WM 6.5.1)

I have a really annoying problem whilst tethering where my phone will drop down to 1x mode. It's practically useless at that point and I have to wait 5 minutes to get back up to EVDO for no apparent reason.

IS there an option hidden away somewhere to force EVDO- only mode in SSK? (I'm NOT talking about DDTM - that's already enabled)

BAFMSL, the PRL updater and the Facebook app - they all fail to install to either main memory or internal storage.

There's no error message other than "installation unsuccessful"

Anyone out there? Both this thread and the corresponding thread on sskusers.net have gone incredibly quiet. Also, a couple weeks ago Scott was talking about an imminent update for his Diamond kitchen, but all the news since then has been related to the TP2.

Is this finally the end of support for the Diamond?
