I'll try to improve the first post with more details, possibly tomorrow. I have been flashing like a crazed junkie the last 2 days to put this thing together and test it, and I don't want to do it tonight.

It's a nice blend of apps that I use myself. I hope you like it. Try it out and give me some feedback.

I have a lot more stuff too that I may include in later versions as I learn some new tricks.

Liking it so for Bonz! Curious why icontact is included? Don't see a need for it. Love the Taskbar, and it has most of the apps that i use. Do you think you could add FM radio, add the facebook tab in? Great job!

Good question!

I use iContact and have it mapped to my right home screen soft key. I have it set to open in my favorites tab so that I can use it as a speed dial. I also eliminate the People tab in TouchFlo altogether, and I find the Rhodium contacts system slow and clunky.

So... bottom line... it is a personal preference to use iContact. The version I have included is Avian Edition (formerly Burt's Edition with a new author) and it is being actively developed, and doesn't take up much storage space.

Also, there are lots of skinning possibilities with this app, which is always nice, as you know from your work on FingerKeyboard, I'm sure. In fact, I forgot to cook in the default VGA skin into the rom, but I will include it later. It's the one I use as it has a nice minimal look, but I am on the lookout for a better one. I like apps that are highly customizable.

*edit* Also, Reef, I may set myself up for Facebook and include the actual Facebook app in a future version. I am on MySpace now, but everything seems to be going to Facebook. I will probably have the FM radio back in the next version. I don't really use it much though, as I prefer to stream music over Orb (check out Kinoma player).

Man after playing with this ROM for a bit.... It is fast, smooth and everything works like it should! The FM radio is just a feature I like showing off. lol I use to love icontact but have got a custom to the Rhodium contacts. I got my facebook tab back and yeah your right i got myspace but had to open a facebook because everyone seems to be switching. I think i'm sticking to this ROM till you update it. GREAT WORK bro!

Thanks man. I'll keep working on it so that you get a better experience. I have some ideas but I want to enjoy my current build for a bit. :)

Just consider iContacts a bonus. I also use Resco Contact Manager for the call history (mapped to the TouchFlo home screen with SSMAHO) and photo editing features, but I can't include that as it is paid software. I just install it with a cab after I flash.

It is a tab in the Rhodium contacts, but it is pretty lame. I am going to have some better Facebook functionality in the next version of the rom.
