Only time this has happened to me is on 6.5 ROMS. Not specific to any one cook. Generally flashing to stock, then to the 6.5 ROM can help. But I think it's a 6.5 thing for sure. I don't believe I've ever had it happen to me on a 6.1 ROM and I burn a lot of ROMs.

Most certainly not a 6.5 thing -- I've had it before on 6.1 ROMs as well.

yea in no way am i blaming this rom, i did say in a past post ive experienced this with other roms.. dunno what to do though.. imma play sprint rom for a couple days and come back to this rom.. cheers!

I flashed JonRom which is a 6.5 Rom and had this exact problem. I just tried Edge and got the same problem. So far I've only experienced this problem with 6.5 Roms. I'm going to try to flash to stock then back to Edge to see if the problem persists. I hope it's not a 6.5 thing because I'm kind of liking 6.5 even with the little time I've had with it.

@bboydru: Once it happens, it'll likely keep happening with every custom ROM you flash. The shipped firmware contains more than just the OS image; it also has the radio and some other things. It probably fixes some sort of corruption that occurs occasionally.

so flashing to an old "official" sprint rom you think would help any?
then manually updating the radio, THEN flashing a 6.5 rom?

When the problem arises, what I do is simply flash the Telus shipped ROM (I'm with Telus; flash Sprint Shipped if you're with them) and back to the ROM I want.

It works every time.

Bluetooth Volume control does not work with the Frugal rom. i think this is because the volume control defaults to ringer.. How can i change the Default Volume control to system?
