PIM Backup is easy to get as a standalone EXE. You really don't need it cooked in.

I'd prefer not to cook in Soft Reset either. The default behavior of the phone seems just fine. You can always install it as a cab if you wish.

I'll update to 21210 for the next Edge ROM. Hopefully it'll address some issues, but I don't know about battery life. It seems fine to me, but I don't play with my phone a whole lot.

Good to hear feedback though. I'm glad there are people enjoying my work. :]

Does this have 3.5 Net built-in?

ROM has been working flawlessly, thanks for all the work. The only issue I've noticed is that the backlight auto-adjust doesn't work. Anyone else having that problem? Not a big deal, just harder to see out in the sun.

Yeah, I've notice that too.

In which ROM does the backlight auto-adjust not work? o:

In any case, I recommend using Lumos for backlight auto-adjustment. It's much faster and configurable.

What is the difference between 21500 and 21210. I was just asking because I have noticed that Chef's sometime change "sys" and end up with a whole different set of problems.

Don't get me wrong...I'm not trying to tell you how to cook your ROM's but your Edge...right now is pretty close to perfect There is no ringer issues, no freezing, no shutting down by itself, no weird fonts, and etc...

The only problem I really seen in Edge was the photo in Landscape issue.
As for the battery life...I am running MS push and have reduced the time that it checks for mail.

I would like the local weather on the Today screen... is there a cab to install?

I can't cook, so I have to ask and work with you

Re: April 13th 2009 [Frugal F1.1-21028 | Edge E0.1-21500] ||| alRom

@KingArthur: 21500 was a leaked and hacked version of 21210, apparently. From what I've read, 21210 is also faster than 21500. The latest release is 21501 though, which is allegedly legit, and faster/more stable than previous builds.

@FluffyPhones: Glad you like it. (:

I've been too busy to cook lately, though I might have time to fiddle with the new SYS tomorrow. I'm contemplating upgrading Frugal to 6.5: it's gotten much lighter and faster over the builds. So far, haven't had any notable issues on build 21500, and I hear 21501 is much better.
