Re: Are All ROMS Illegal according to Microsoft?
Dunno, seems silly these guys put beta OS and tweaks/fixes and help mature it ...
So no more 6.5? Figures I liked it... |

Re: Are All ROMS Illegal according to Microsoft?
I think the issue is with 6.5,
As 6.1 is included with our phones we hold a license for it. Upgrading to a newer release of 6.1 i think is a non issue. Its when we upgrade to 6.5 that causes a problem.

Re: Are All ROMS Illegal according to Microsoft?
Well good grief send us a link to pay to upgrade I would hate it if they went out of business cause I ran 6.5 BETA and didnt pay for it.
Seriously if thats the issue provide us a way to resolve it... |

Re: Are All ROMS Illegal according to Microsoft?
I dont believe you can just upgrade a phone to a newer os legally. Htc would have to decide whether that want to create a new 6.5 rom for the diamond phone. If they decided to do that I am sure they would have to pay Microsoft some amout of money.
