Still having trouble with sms, would be nice to have updated city list, other than that its smooth.

This still is a rhodium bug. You can check intex's thread for a temp fix, but be aware your alarms and g-alarm go off the time it should be. My phone woke me up at 5:15 although g-alarm was set to 6:15.... It is a cool interface though! I'll live with the clock issue for now...
I haven't had any issues with G-Alarm going off at the incorrect time..

I took the plunge and installed
I'll check the alarm thing.

Does this rom have the weatherfix that allows for custom cities?

Is it possible that the world clock is just defaulting to the old daylight savings settings????
Like its updating based on something other than United States modified daylight savings schedule?
We would move up an hour next month...

Can anyone highlight the major differences between this RSTG rom and the other Custom Sprint Rom in this thread?

That thread is TF3D, this thread is TF3D2 aka Rhodium...

Basically a newer version of manila.

RSTOYGUY..

Hey just another observation on the clock thing.
When I pull up the clock settings from the settings/system tab, I see that the time zone selected is GMT -5 Bogota. When I select GMT -5 U.S. Eastern, the time moves an hour ahead. Only problem is when I reboot and check again, Bogota has been selected. That one hour off is the correct time if the phone is being made to pick Bogota because they don't move up for daylight savings yet.

I might be stating the obvious here but I was hoping this might help those of you that know much more about this stuff than I do and I don't believe I've seen this observation mentioned yet.

rstoyguy: Is it possible to change the dialer from white to black with a registry change? I tried installing the IPC black dialer cab over the white dialer in the rom and it works but the graphics on the slide to answer portion are a bit off.

EDIT: PROBLEM SOLVED - SEE POST #150 FOR BLACK SKINNED DIALER THAT WORKS.

Thanks a_medina626

Re: ...RSTG Custom Rom -=- Rhodium_v1c v2.R1d.06 FuzeBerry II 3/30/09

Was just reading through this thread and just wanted to share some info on some of the issues:

The timezone issue is a known issue with the Rhodium TF3D. Basically the time function in TF3D isn't functioning correctly. It might work for now, but go in and play around with the alarms and you might just trigger the bug. The fix according to xBoxMod is to use the WinMo settings to set your time right (once you have the time right on your TF3D homescreen) and then staying away from the clock on the homescreen (I know thats kind of hard). They have a fix coming soon they reported.

I think the Arcsoft issue is also related to the timing bug. I think that the WinMo time and the TF3D time is confusing Arcsoft which uses WinMo to timestamp but then must thread itself with SMS messages that use TF3D to timestamp. Fix your time problem first then re-install Arcsoft and it should work fine.

Other issues that you might have but don't realise yet include the People's tab not being able to call the secondary and tertiary numbers. Even if you hit the button for some of the other numbers it always seems to call the primary number. Not sure if there is an ETA on that issue. Also, the contact card doesn't seem to allow you to add a picture. The album just won't open up. You may or may not have those issues with the ROM ... its seems to randomly affect some users. Good luck! It looks like a good ROM and I may try it in the future just because it is Sprint friendly! Good work RSTG!

Try this... It changed both S2a and Dialer for me.
