Thanks to effudde for finding the issue, so that I could fix it. I hate issues, but I like it when they're fixed.

Which dll was it?

I just got the SYS set up the way I like it. Can I just replace the missing dll?

dnsapi.dll in the OS folder in sys -- or you can put it in OEMdrivers.

LOL, I just found that dnsapi.dll was missing and was about to edit my post saying "never mind".

Thanks indagroove!

You think that these fixes will take care of the stuff that I was seeing in the kitchen?

They show up in the OEM/Titanium calendars.
One-time appointments show up fine.
An appointment that is created (but doesn't appear) in [for instance] SBSH Calendar appears on my PC after I sync and in Titanium. Just not in Calendar! I had the same issue with PocketInformant.
Its a 6.5 issue. Those items are apparently being managed differently now. My understanding is that most 3rd party apps are going to have this problem.
I know SBSH is aware of the issue but they are waiting for a more official 6.5 release before they fix it.

It sounded like it was a problem with your kitchen tools, not the sys or oem base.

At this point, most upgrades are going to be minor, with sys updates and small improvements only. So, if you want the newest sys available, and the Ev icon fix then you should update. If you don't care about that stuff, then don't.
