WOW! I didn't even think of looking there. since most emails addresses are in lower case it would be more intuitive to have it above a lower case character..on the other hand there could be a case made here that it is (sort of) in the same location as it is on a full size keyboard.
Still enjoying this ROM surprisingly stable for a beta..sure there are a few hiccups and I have had a few wierd ones but so far not one fatal error that required a reboot.

I have tried to search but with no luck and I know I saw it somewhere but can someone point me in the right direction for fixing the can not find default.hv and user.hv
It's been haunting me since I got home 6 hours ago....

Are you getting default.hv and user.hv error when cooking? If so, you have a bad rgu most likely. Look in your temp folder, and open the log.txt file. Look at the last line, and note the rgu number. Then search for that rgu, which will be the cause. Then just omit that oem, or fix your rgu.

So, I'm still not sure, but my IT bro seems to think the email from M$ legal may be legit. He's doing some pinging or something to try to figure out for sure. If so, I may need to pull rom links.

In possible related weirdness, I just noticed that the 21198 sys/xip that I have uploaded was downloaded close to 600 times yesterday alone. This is pretty strange since prior to that there were maybe 30 or 40 downloads over several days of that sys:

I dont know why they would only be harrassing you. There is more people than just you out there making 6.5 roms. Any other chefs get an e-mail??

Does anyone know the regedit to get the big X back? It's too hard for me to target that tiny little x and the start as well. Must be the whole top bar, I suppose.

I think it might have to do with 21319. I literately got the notice just hours after posting that I was working on it. Although the notice didn't go into specifics, and was filled with legal jargan, it talked about reverse engineering unreleased OS's for third party use, blah blah blah. I'm going over to my sister's house in just a bit to talk to her husband who is a lawyer. The weird thing is that it came directly to my personal email address, which is unregistered on this site. I have no idea how they would find my personal email address. I'm still not 100% sure it's legit.

I really don't wanna pull links, but if it is legit from M$, I do wanna comply 100% asap. So far, it's just a cease and desist letter so far as I can tell, but I'm no lawyer.

Have you talked to Juicy? Been able to compare what kind of warnings he got from MS to see if they are similiar?
