Re: [3-29-09] ** grooveROM 4 ** wm6.1 & wm6.5 versions -- (21038.1.6.0) & (21198.5.0.

I tried grooverom 6.5 a while ago and I couldn't send or receive texts. I posted the problem here and it wasn't addressed. I figured it had something to do with not flashing the stock first, so this time for this latest build I flashed the stock first then grooverom 6.5 no manilla... and I can't send or receive texts in this version either.

EDIT

Ok so here was the issue. If I start typing a contact in, and I pick the one directly above the keyboard, it doesn't work, because it defaults to "1". But if I pick the one from the list below the entry field, it will work.

huh?

Sure, just remove the Manila OEM folder.

go to

HKCU/control panel/soundcategories/ring

Here comes revision 8!!! lol.
I was having the same problem, made the registry change, and now some rings work in the sounds/notifications tab but they dont play when I get a call or text. Any other tips or tricks to get this working??? (yes i flashed stock and hard reset twice with the clear storage method). This is the only issue i'm having. Thanks!!!

Edit: oops guess i should say i'm using prebuilt 6.5 build 8. Thanks.
