Once I flash to yours, IF i can get past the customization and what not, if i try to clear storage, then i get stuck on the boot screen. also it crashed when i tried to run the tab customizer to get rid of the stocks tab and i had to force bootloader

I don't know what can be causing this, have you tried doing this:

if you flash alot, their will be pieces of old roms/cab installations/etc that remain in the internal storage, specifically in the program files folder of internal storage. Before I flash another rom, I go into the program files(internal storage) and delete all old folders from previous cab installations except for a couple that dont seem to interfere like livesearch. this has worked for me flashing 6.1 roms and 6.5 roms. then flash shipped, hard reset, flash the custom rom of your choice, clear storage one more time if you like.

Or you can backup your internal storage files to your desktop (pictures in DCIM & other folders, music, video, cabs, etc. use Pim backup for text messages, calls, etc. whatever you want saved. then I do the same thing. Flash the shipped rom, clear storage and format internal storage, flash the custom rom, clear again. I made this suggestion to someone else tonight that was not getting past the first screen flashing a 6.5 rom, and it worked so hopefully it will work for you. good luck.

Ok I had the same problem a while back. Here is what you have to do.

1- Flash back to the stock rom

2- when it asks you to tap the screen to start customization STOP THERE! Don't do anything.

3- Now start the flashing process with mystery rom and once you get to the "tap the screen to start customizing...." go for it.

I've noticed that doing that will get you pa ssed most problems flashing to a 6.5 rom.

But doesnt the pc have to recognize the device in activesync before we can flash a rom? I thought that only happens AFTER you tap the screen so I dont know how I could do that.
I will try what mystery just posted later tonight

the customize took about 15 minutes for me. but did eventually finish.

If you leave your phone connected to the usb cable while you do this it will work. I must've flashed over 8 roms last week and that is how I do it and I never got a problem since. B4 this I could not run any 6.5 roms as it would freeze at the customizing screen and a reset would only freeze the phone while starting.at the boot screen.

When taping the soft key "All Messages", sometimes i get the older version of the screen, sometimes the newer version (Rhodium manila) with the icons.

Also when sending a text, using the newer version screen (with icons) the text messages get cut off

No your cpu recognizes the device once the tap here screen comes on. so your good
