If you read the page before this one you can see that YouTube is not working, I'm still looking for a fix, I have tried many different cabs and it plays it but no sounds.

Thanks intx, I'm going to try this cab out, I have try like 5 different versions and it plays the video but no sound which is weird.

So a very odd/interesting thing just happened. After using ShutXP to soft reset the phone re-ran setup (but does not appear to have hard reset.) So there are now two shortcuts for every program. Not sure what else happened but very peculiar.

P.S. and yes I flashed to stock before flashing the rom.

I had it happen to me, had to reflash to stock then back to the version I was using which was 1.5 I think.

Thanks, I tried making it into an OEM as well but didn't work. I'll try to use that one an see if it works.

Yesterday I actually got it working but can't remember which of all the cabs I used worked, I tried using all of them again but no luck. = [

Before installing this I could play videos but there was no sound. I just tried this on and now I get an error message: "Error: Cannot play this video."

I'm on MysteryROM II Rhodium.

UPDATE: Totally hit or miss. I tried changing the configuration settings and set video playback quality to "High Quality" instead of "Auto-Select". Videos started working though still no audio. I then changed it to "Fast Download" and "Auto-Select" and both loaded the video sans sound. Restarted the app and the same error message popped up. I went through the process of changing it to "High Quality" and it still didn't work. Changed to a different video channel and all of a sudden, it worked. Switched to "Auto-Select", it stopped working. There does NOT appear to be any rhyme or reason to any of this. Either way, sound never came on for me.

just curious to what version of You Tube was used in the previous Mystery ROM I ?

so im new to anything slightly more complicated than installing a cab file on my ppc but i managed to flash your rom on my diamond with no problems at all but obviously the youtube. is that something that might eventually be fixed?

He's in the process of trying to track down a fix. Shouldn't be too long.
