I respect that alot of other people like the touchpal but I am not a big fan. I like the htc compact qwerty better for some reason.. I would prefer to see this keyboard back on the rom. my 2 cents..

I agree with you phone swapper, I tried touchpal out but it wasn't for me. I am compact qwerty guy myself. I like the new full qwerty better than the old one though, it feels more accurate when I type. I also just tried out finger keyboard v2 which was also nice.

Anyways, this ROM has been a sight for sore eyes, Juicy's ROMs are always welcome on my phone.

I have a feeling JMZ will do our community proud as well.

I actually didn't even like compact qwerty. Tried touchpal before but didn't like it either. But a friend nagged me about giving it a real try for a few days and now I love it. After you add your custom words and set word priorities it's really fast. Even the full qwerty is a bit better than others I tried (used to use pcm keyboard full time). What I like about it is the text prediction/correction is the best I've seen and the gestures make for quick symbol input without losing the size of the compact qwerty keys or having to switch to another menu.

Touchpal skins are just so ugly though. Sounds superficial but I just didnt like the design and the last time I tried it, it gave me all kinds of trouble. It may have been updated since then to work better but still its 2d styling is a little blah for me.

I don't think the toupal should be built in the rom. If needed, the user can install it. Traditionally, Juicy's rom keeps basic stuff.

I don't think touchpal should be included by default either. I think it was brought up as a suggestion for those missing compact qwerty.

hey, you guys can switch back to the htc keyboards. Just need to pick the one you like the best. Be sure to stop SIPGT_app.exe with DotFred Task Mgr before installing the cab. you will lose the new diamond2 keyboard though. there are several good ones floating around this forum. check out this thread: good luck

Not sure actually, it was the default skin when I installed 3.5. Must be on their site somewhere if it's not set by default.

anyone having issues with the device sending multiple text messages? I am getting crazy complaints from friends who are receiving multiple texts, I tested myself on another phone and I am getting multiple messages. Any ideas? ROM, device, network?
