Do not install any of these apps unless you are prepared to hard reset. Most apps are not easily uninstallable


If you install the keyboard you will have to hard reset to completely remove it. So be sure to backup your stuff before installing.

I just realized what this rom really is. For the people that know a lot about roms, take a good look at this rom dump. This isn't a stock rom after all. It is much better.

Btw, I am working on getting this dump cleaned up a little. I don't know where all the files might go and I might get some mixed up. I will post the "organized" dump tomorrow. I would like someone else to help clean it up also. Maybe someone will see something that I didn't.

But until we can get the released rom dump. This is probably the best dump for right now. IF/WHEN someone on xda releases the base, then we should have something worthwhile.

Yeah me for one. I have already started cooking 1 thing in a time, figuring out what needs to be ported and which will work natively. The biggest thing we need right now is either someone figure out how to dump the hive files in this dump, or someone dump the registry from a fresh flash on HD of Dutty's extreme rom. The latter will probably be the easiest, but who has a HD and willing to do this?

i wish i did, cuz i would totally do it. besides answering a little question here and there i havent been able to give to the community the way you guys do but i will eventually find my niche and be able to give back wether it be a Fix or a Rom i will get there just have to read alot more i guess and to rtial and error but all in due time. you guys rock and make this site worth it.

That's what you have to do. Just read, read, and read some more. Thats how I started back when I owned a Wing. But sometimes you just have to post a question. Personally, I post a question only when I have searched many times and have tried everything I can to fix my problem.

There is a lot of good information here. It will eventually just be a light bulb that turns on and you figure out what you are doing.:headbang:

Yeah I have already cooked in the three released so far, mainly for testing. So if anyone wants oems, I have them and working. Hopefully there is someone working on the contacts manager and phonecanvas. I hosed my phone twice trying to get those installed.

Take a look at the gsensor app. Works for most apps without a third party software. You just have to add the exe name in the registry. Already works for calc and album.

Just tested on a Fuze and Touch HD and it worked on both for Albums and Calc and on the Touch HD I was using the stock Albums. I'll look into it later but the polling seems to be set at a little above 1second which is fine but I think it can be reducd a little:)

Yeah I checked the registry settings but didn't see any polling settings. I thought it wasn't going to work the first time I used it but I set it down and it worked. It is only 2 dll files. Thanks for the update

Bad news about that phone - it's my wifes so she won't let me load a new ROM on it:( She won't even let me put a registry editor onto it (so I had to remove the shortcut so it doesn't show up in programs). It really makes me jealous though - that screen destroys the Fuze's... If no one dumps the ROM soon (a good dump, not the current one) I'll see if I can persuade her more (you know, do it overnight and restore it the next morning before she's awake:)) I agreed to get it for her if she stopped yelling at me for being obsessed over my phone:)
by the way, I tried to add iexplore.exe to the list and it doesn't autorotate (even after a soft reset). I think the whitelist needs to be updated as well - any ideas what the strings would look like there?

Will be watching this thread. I tried the calculator and most of the functions work. Anyone have any problems with the landscape functions such as Sin/Cos/Tan? They don't seem to work for me and just give an "E" on the corner of the digit display.

I asm using the telus diamond and it is working fine. The only thing is that you have to enter the number and then enter the close bracket for it to work. It should automatically enter the close bracket when you hit the "=" sign (personal preference).

Also it is bit of a pain say you enter some numbers and then you want to take the answer and lets say Sqrt it you have to retype the answer and the close bracket for it to work.
