As much as I can tell this fixed the comm tab for me. Someone please confirm if this works for them. Disable TF3D first of course.

I didn't try that. That would suck though. I am in the middle of a bad cook of my rom so I am trying to recover that one right now so I can't try it. But it will uninstall if need be.

I'd prefer to have the other tab, not much of a fan of the sprint tabs with color

yeah just a pain in the a** converting all those manila files, or you could TRY installing a theme and see how that goes... tf3d may not start so id recommend a cab theme file for easy uninstall.
