.RSTG Custom Sprint Rom - TF3D Tweaked & Loaded - v3.7.05 + Kitchen 5/14/09

Thanks guys! I just like to release roms that utilize my tutorials so that end-users know what can be done. It's very seldom you find a rom with a custom start menu's, custom sounds and a few other perks I do. Later in the week I'll upload all my current OEM's, and you guys/gals will have an OEM package you can drop into a kitchen, like calcu's. Some of the tutorial oem's have "evolved" quite a bit and are different than what I had with my tutorials.

How about adding the Adobe Flash Support, which will give flash support in PIE and opera.

not sure about the newest version.. but 1.2 was giving the gibberish as first word in text when using t9. also i would get pretty frequent freezing when texting. i would be typing a word and everything would just freeze for about 5 seconds then resume.

everything else seemed to work well. thank you.

I got the freezing as well. It's a little bit annoying and hopefully can be resolved.

Yep, this rom is a little top heavy, I want to keep it fairly stock-ish, but we have to have functionality as well.

I'll give the xt9 a workout today and see what I can find. I haven't changed anything from the leaked sprint rom as far as messaging goes. I'll dig through the provxml's and see what I can find. I'm an old fart and don't text much...

Thanks again for the input, looks like the rom priorities are:
1. Add Flash (testing)
2. Ensure messaging/xt9 is tweaked.

If anyone has a working fix/enhancement for anything in this rom, pm me. Anymore I only get my "kitchen time" for about an hour each day...

The xt9 is some pretty buggy stuff in winmobile. I can always turn it off.

For those with xt9 problems try:
Turn off xt9 post #4,

And then those with a lag problem try:

See which fix works and that's the one(s) I'll implement. I like the lag fix, and I'm for turning off xt9 all together...

Edit: I've done both, and it's BLAZIN! Even touchpal is fast now!

Edit: If you do the first hack, your stock keyboards will do all numbers...I don't use em so I'll put em in my personal OEM...

im having simular texting issues and I'm not on your rom. I am however on a 2.0 leaked based rom. I think it has something to do with that and not your individual roms?

Yep, my rom is built using the 2.0 leaked rom as a base. So the above edits should work for you as well. And thanks for validating my new "blamin it on sprint" theory. The above fixes work for me, I don't use predictive input so I'm much happier now.

You should try this rom mikejfrd, you get all the comforts of a stock rom, and some cool customizations.
