How can i flash a different spl?

I have the .57 cmmonex hard spl and want to try to use a different one so i can use different roms but when I try to flash an different hard spl i have no luck what so ever. Everytime it attempt to flash it to my device, it makes my phone freeze up. Im bring told that the spl i have may be overwrite protected. is there anything i can do?

.57 cmmonex is all you need to flash different roms to your CDMA diamond.

Well ive been tryin to flash some different rom over on xda and in oder to do so i have to have hard spl 1.23; 1.24; or 1.34 and every time i try to flash them my phone freezes. I only can flash the roms over here with .57 cmmonex

a lot of the stuff on XDA is for GSM phones. They won't work on CMDA.

meatgel is right try the roms on this site they are mostly cdma and will work for you theres no need to flash to the other spl 0.43 im using mighty 4.1 and its a great rom stable fast and he leaves able for your own custumizing

dude those r GSM roms they work on CDMA

Before you make fun of someone... you might want to check that you include the negatives in your sentence. GSM ROMs DO NOT work on CDMA devices without some essential changes.

lol @ some essential changes. I that like changing your log cabin into a brick house by replacing some lumber?

Alternatively, you could remove the phone portion and just use it as a pda device (that'd require a kitchen, of course).
