Well if we go with what the title says. We can assume it helps charge quickly. Fast charge :-)

just out of curiosity, if the battery is being charged faster because of this, will it do any damage to the battery since it wasn't designed to be charged at the faster speed?

Interested in some feedback on how the fast charge works..... and what happens when you charge from a computer. Although it may draw more mAH, if the computer can only output 500mAH... then won't the computer only give 500mAH?

Also.. isn't a power supply for a PC somewhere in the 10+ Amp range for the 5v? Seems like the power supply wouldn't be an issue..

A USB Port is capable of 1000mA

and this wont damage your device. its fully rated for 1A (1000mA)

I believe that Mighty, Conflipper, Juggalo, and myself all have it in our latest rom releases. Yes, it charges quicker.

Do you guys mind telling us how to add this to a current rom we may have? so we dont have to re-flash or leave a rom that we may like a lot?

Is there a regedit or possibly a cab you can make up? Much appreciation :D
