[REMOVED] Juicy ROM 4.4 [SYS OS 5.2.20764 Build 20764.1.4.3] [UC]

I just installed 4.3 onto a Sprint Touch Diamond that previously had the stock rom. 4.3 does seem a lot faster and hopefully will be more stable than stock. One question though, I didn't find anything in a search... Is there a custom comm manager screen that is black instead of white? Would fit in better with the rest of tf3d.

The answer is in post #48...for your future roms could you please embed this into them.

I have a sprint diamond and I'm on your 4.3 rom and I can confirm just doing what is said in post #48 is working on my phone.

I played around with this a bit.
To enable full desktop browsing you can do the following in Juicy4.3:
1) type "opera:config"
2) Go to "User Prefs/UAProf URL Enabled" and uncheck it
3) This may not be required, but click "Default" next to "UserPrefs/Custom User-Agent" (which will clear it)

When "Custom User-Agent" is empty, "User Agent/Spoof UserAgent ID" takes over and
Option 1 is Opera 9.5
Option 2 is Firefox
Option 3 is MSIE

Also, I believe UAProf for HTC Diamond should probably be
http://www.htcmms.com.tw/gen/Diamond-1.0.xml
(I assume Juicy took this opera version from VictorC, which is almost the same)

A really wonderful ROM. I'm having an issue that I think I remember seeing somewhere, but can't find in searching.
When I use PIE, I can't enter any text into the any web pages. Not on Google, PPCGeeks or anything. I get an SIP and it seems to be working, but nothing appears on the page. Opera works fine.

have you installed a SIP? i.e. PCM Keyboard, etc.?

If you notice, there are a number of instances where TF3D switches white...

1) All Programs
2) Music Player, "Album"
3) CommManager

Black/White/Green go quite well together, I have no complaints but I'm sure you could whip up a theme if not already available. Unfortunately I do not have the time nor interest to do it.

I have 4.3 on my phone... after install I cleared the phone and started new again...
But my phone keeps locking up on me... for a good 10 to 20 secs. It doesn't seems to care what I am doing when it happens...
Also, there is no MMS on the ROM. How can I add it for Alltel?

i gotta q, been on here a bit and almost every time i come on theres a new version of juicy rom out. Is there a reason why Juicy doesn't just wait a little longer and have more "final" releases?

I'm not complaining just curious.
