The part of the operating system that controls memory and file access

Any idea's why the multi select was disabled by MS?....

MS has built touchflo like gestures into the os itself

upside: better than tflo for scrolling
downside: no multi select other than the menu option in tmail

I've left TouchFlo in the rom, but let MS' touch gestures handle the scrolling. Multiselect will not work, but I don't really miss it.

Be sure to hard reset after flashing, and post your results

i've been using Juicy ROMS for a while now and i'd like to know if there is a way to backup things like what programs are favorited in the programs tab, or what websites are favorited, and subscribed RSS feeds and stuff like that. other than the standard PIM backup that saves contacts and messages etc.

i'd rather not have to redo everything every time i flash a new rom. thanks

favorite programs you can back it up by backing these keys up
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\MANILA\PROGRAMLAUN CHER

for favorite people list:
just backup the file pim.vol in the root directory

RSS hubs has an export list option menu/export then to restore just import when you first run it

for favorite weather settings and alot more go and back these up

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\HTC\MANILA

THEN pick the ones you want ,they are pretty much self explanatory
goodluck

Hi I installed the new Telus radio 1.04.05 then installed your Juicy Rom 4.0 and did a hard reset after the install. Thank you Juicy for your hard work and everything looks good, but I can't seem to get GPS working. I loaded up google maps and it said it could not connect to QuickGPS. I then set the port to Com 4 manually and Google maps informed me there was no GPS installed. Does anyone have an idea?

Did you make sure your LOCATION setting is set to ON? It's under Start>Settings>Phone>Services
